I'd be very surprised to see a real 250whp b series on a dynojet in Georgia. I do not believe one exists."
For the record, Chip built his own motor. DFE only ported the head. As for the amount of power it makes, I won't say. But, it did run 11.6 a couple of weeks ago and he's got some more in the bag.
For $5K, you'd better get a lot more than 250 hp. $5K can get 700+ rwhp on a Windsor or LSX platform. That makes up for the weight increase.

Again your back on the V8 vs Honda shit.... But to argue, I don't see anyone buying a foxbody, winsor block, and good heads for 5k then making 700hp.. The motor alone with parts and machine work would net you maybe 450-500hp, and that's a 420ci 351, then you would need the kool aid to hit 600-700..Turbo kit would cost to much, unless your a fabricator..
I see your point, but go ride in a 250-300hp N/A honda that weighs 1800lbs..![]()
