What does it matter on your setup? Do you race for money? I have raced 220, even a 230hp RSX and won.. You pulled a super charged RSX, what was that? That was the last tune it seen and that was when it was installed in the Red Bubble.. This same motor was in my Tan EF, I said what it made at that time.. It's a Kool Aid motor and I listed parts!!

I think you'll do good, are you going to be on slicks or ET streets? I'm guessing that tall 1st might work well on the street but could hurt at the track if you're on a good tire and it bogs

If you have ANY nitrous lines hooked up they will not put you in all motor at all.

Just an observation I had......
Luis car beat my 200whp 2350 lb Crx by about 1-2 cars up to 115-120. That was a 4.4 fd. When we dynoed Luis weeks later it made what like 239whp or something?
So a 40whp raw advantage and he didn't walk away hard. It was really in my opinion a gearing factor. His gearbox is just awesome. I would have loved to run him with a 4.9 but we never got to.
Having said that, I dont think bobbys car ever made anywhere near 224 or more whp. I think he prob has a 4.9 or 4.78 , prob weighs at least 100 lbs lighter than my Crx (hell I'm 220lbs Bobby is built like a 12 year old girl so that's instant weight savings) and if he has a cx or vx then that's even more weight.
I think his car prob makes 200-210 TOPS. We all know race gas and e85 doesnt add 20whp. And according to the pm he sent me he said it made 224 BEFORE THE CAMS, intake manifold, and race gas tune. Then he said a few days ago "wait till I put my pro3s intake and morris tune I'll be set". So did he put cams in or not?

I honesty think his car is a 200-210 at best, he had a better geared trans than my Crx so he gave Luis a much better run. Period

you do know this is import showdown not import faceoff....they only have 1 all motor class. And if im not mistaken disco monkey isnt back running yet and civicnick(white ef) is over seas from what i can remember. And they let nemo run last year with the lines still there, but he let them check the car over to show them no bottle.

Gearing does make the difference, I agree. I have a 4.1 in my car. There is a protege in PR with the same setup besides a tune, with a 4.3 gear. He runs 12.8-12.9 all day.

Its showdown... there nostrict at all... the reynolds staff will tell you to slow down if your too fast. Ut im guessing nobody on this form is gonna have that prob and I ran with lines on my car 2 years ago and they said nothing to me...

Why wouldn't you protest? It's a contest and competition. If someone has nitrous lines then I'd protest cause only way to be sure is to have a car with no lines at all.
The event has a payout, ridding yourself of competition over following the rules isn't whining, it's smart

sdr doesnt tech for import showdown, the people who run IS do it. And they checked more than that last year. They will do "private" techs for people that dont want anybody to see what motor they are running. We did this for NEMO last year.

well i agree they dont check worth a shit . After somebody protested the camefloge hatch for having i think a super charger and nitrous running in the all motor field then they pulled all the all motor cars and did a pretty good check because they said that was only fair and i agree no big deal. I think they were a little worried about all the insulation we have on our intake tube and looked at it pretty good to make sure it wasnt hiding anything . I also agree its not hard at all to hide nitrous were it can be seen i could do it if i wanted to and sure anybody could. I could give a rats ass about the money and if someone needs to hide a nitrous line to beat me at a event race then what ever makes them sleep at night . We all no about what each other make and we all know what it takes to run certain times it want be that hard to know somethings up simple as that.
I hope all this doesnt discourage mosley form entering the all motor class and he seems to be a little older and a pretty stand up guy i want protest if he enters simple as that i want a race guys the more the better. i understand why people do what they do on the street and the sneaky secretive shit on the street but no reason for all that at a event just nothing to prove good luck guys.
