    Default Kills Forum Nonsense

Is it just me, or does nothing ever get settled on the kills forum?

It's like this: the race never actually happens because of countless excuses of varying degrees, and if the race should actually take place, excuses come flooding back into the thread the next day.

Its just a big dick measuring contest for guys who think the street racing is actually cool. I mean, running a buddy or doing a little "aggressive accelerating" with the guy who pulled up next to you at the last light is all well and good. It's just a little horsing around. But we have guys on here that actually take the time to talk shit, set it up, back out 5 times, finally do it, and then broadcast results. Guys, it's not F&F out there. Kinda makes me wonder if while I'm laughing at Paul Walker's goofy ass, other guys are taking notes and practicing lines.

We're all "adults" here. Doesn't street racing just seem like kid stuff?

Maybe i just don't get it.

1st off the KF used not be what it is today. years ago when me and many more people were active here callouts were made and you went out and handled business. videos were posted and if you made excuses you were called a bitch and a ricer. for many different reasons things are not the same as they used to be since the scene has became more about looks/stance/offset/whatever.

Say anything negative in this forum about whats goes on in here you will be banned. tread carefully on this subject. i lost a very close friend as he was out street racing but once thing i know is neither one of us is going to change anyone. people that street race will stop when they are ready to stop...hell i know people that are in their 50's and still street race. point is dont get yourself banned because if you dont like street racing this isnt the place to voice that opinion.

Thanks for the heads up. I had it in the Whores lounge, as to not make it look like I was stirring shit up in the KF backyard, but it was moved here lol. I don't condemn racers, and I understand guys who build for speed and want to test it, but the whole little dance that goes along with it just seems silly. I came on this forum under the understanding that it was for people who share a passion for internal combustion and a nice sunday cruise. I suppose in any petrol head community, there will be guys who want to go fast.

Mods - If at any point things are said in this thread that should not be, please just delete/lock it and notify me.

Haha fair enough. I definitely understand the want to make power and go faster, I just wouldn't ever feel the need to prove it or test it against someone.

Know how fast your car is and dont worry about how fast another car is, unless they specifically say your shit is slow and call you out, then run the damn cars and not your mouth (or in this instance your keyboard)
