Why? why not do it on street tires first that way you KNOW you can do it, and it helps you when you run on the street. Once you perfect that then throw some slicks on and see what it can do. I did it until i was going consistant 13.9s and knew it wasnt going to go any faster how it sat so i put the slicks on.

Yea this heat is terrible, thats why i havnt been out there since IS or so. Another thing that will help you is to not hot lap your car. You go back to back to back. Make a pass come back pop your hood(or not) and just let the engine cool off a bit, then after 30 min or so go make another run.

And about the hood being popped, yeah it should be that way if runing for money, unless someone is lying about what they have under neath, there is no other reason not to pop the hood. And about his car, his car is not slow by no means, it moves. And chouston guy, I'm also waiting for my run.

I agree with you, I don't doubt his car runs pretty good, I just dont like getting hustled when someone says they have this and that and I'm supposed to win pretty easy but end up losing by a car(Fucking Hustlers)......
