I have a suggestion for you. Why don't you buy this silver GTO I have here. It will be faster, and reliable. All you need is to run good tires, and the bottle. Perfect for a daily that can still run some. Plus, you can build it bigger as you want. Start with a platform that is already performance-based.

I've always heard that 420-430 is pretty much the limit on them. The crank was only forged in the manual tranny cars, due to the 1000rpm higher redline.
It would be cheaper to buy a Cobra, rather than build the motor on a Mach 1, and then boost it. A Cobra would be a LOT cheaper and a LOT more reliable.
