To The Black C5 Z06 On 75 South Near Dalton???

Just giving you the thumbs up on our runs we had on Friday 1/15/2010 and letting you know what a nice car you got there and seeing if you might be apart the wonderful world of Importatlanta.

If you are on here and if anyone might know the car i'm talking about it is a black C5 Z06 with the newer C6 Z06 chrome rims on it and I know it had a cam and exhaust and not sure just what else but I would like to know.

We pulled out of a Cheveron gas station and got on 75 south and that is when the fun started, he started gassing/jumping it at me first so I started hitting the blow-off valve back at him. I was on only 17/18psi of boost at the time because I had a little of a alcohol mix with my pump gas in the car so I cant run my normal settings because it will lean out on me. When we got to a spot were we were clear to run I got beside him and he started smiling and waving me to just go ahead and go BUT he did not know that I was no regular srt-4 so the first race I won by a car or so, lol. The second race I was not so lucky, he was more ready this time, we started from a 70 mph roll or so and he got the jump a little on me this time, 3rd gear he got ahead of me about a finder or so and when I shifted to 4th he automatically pulled on up to make it about a car to a car and a half or so ahead and we stayed that way all the way to around 150 mph or so before we let out so he got me that time.

Anyways good runs bro, I had a ball doing it, it has been a while since I have even ran anyone and I was due, lol. I would like to do it again with me on my normal settings around 20/22psi just to see how it would turn out that way, I think you would be surprised that way, lol.

No, they were all chrome from what I could tell.

What does a C5 Z06 weigh like that? I'm not sure what all else he did have but what would one put down with a cam and exhaust? I know it had that for sure and I would say he had more than that done also.

not bad for a srt4,but no matter how much whp u put down they just don't hookup for shit so i would never own 1 that lay's down real power.But i must say u seem to be running nice in the skittle.

my old car trapped 120 and would hang(or pull a car) with cam'd, bolt-on C5Z's so if your trapping 129 you should have no issue at all with them.

Probably a drivers race. Stock C6Z's trap anywhere from 126-130mph I believe. A h/c C5Z with a decent driver will trap around the same.

Cool, I have been wondering if I would run with one or not. I got my car running a little faster now than it was when I ran your cobra, I gave it a little more timing and it woke it up.

No, not really any of it were it is running good, I wish I did though, it seems like everytime I get into a race I never have a camera but when I do have it nothing ever happens. I have a Precision/Garrett 6031 Ball Bearing turbo upgrade rated at 590hp.

Yep, 3,800rpm's exactly for 20psi.

i only had issues with them on stock turbo with all those vacuum lines. i never had any leaks after i went big turbo and got rid of that chuck of sillyniods and all those lines attached to them.

i had it all the time but it was on stock turbo ,but bucky was driving it 1 time and he blew the brake booster line off and i am so glad he did not wreck it on the way down to the track.But it did suck a cone up in the turbo and blow that up like 30 miles down the road

lol!! i no man me and the bike crew was a little bit back and was trying to catch up so me and the alex ducked down and ran it out at like 140ish and when we caught up all i seen was smoke that smelt really bad and then reality set in.Only good thing about it was $600 later car ran like new again with another turbo on her.
