    If your car is running good I think you would beat a v6 accord. I run a couple of them in my old 97 GSR and never had one beat me. My GSR had intake,header,exhaust at the time.

    My wife's 07 Accord is probably a mid 15 sec car stock. So, yes, the Foxbody would own you.

    If your LS/VTEC can't beat a stock V6 Accord, go ahead and pull it, post it on here for sale as a 173whp motor with lost dyno sheets, and put a stock LS back in, so not everyone thinks VTEC B-series are epic slowness.

    Just cause someone says they have an lsvtec doesn't make it fast. An ls block vtec head with stock cams won't make much past 150-155whp. If he has an ls transmission and a da it's a high 15 second car at best.


    A 2008 accord coupe 6mt runs 14.2s stock out of the box according to car and driver and I bet an auto sedan runs high 14s

    that would rape 90% of the hondas on here

    HAHA, take that elsewhere. Until you post up some timeslips of your 200 whp LS transmission equipped DA, im not believing its so supa fast. Once upon a time i had a DA integra that ran 15.2s with LS everything and even then i could barely pull a stock type s.

    Never said I had 200whp or it was SUPA fast and also it's not just an Ls, it has a ITR head and B16 pistons. My sohc hatch was faster than 15.2 with IHE only so you take that elsewhere ok.

    I would LOVE to see an ls block ls pistons vtec head stock cams I/h/e da integra with an ls trans go to commerce on street tires and run faster than a 15.0

    ls transmissions are horrible for all motor they are too long geared. B16 tranny will make you .2-.4 faster in the 1/4

    Well, i had my LS trans and the stock LS motor made 15.8, which isnt bad i guess but my homeboy and his LSVTEC hatchie made 15.2 and his revved to stock LS limit of 6,900... so im thinkin mine might be somewhere around there, depending on how i drive it, cuz i have the same trans only mine revs to 8k.

    Hopefully soon ill be getting my hands on a GSR tranny tho, we'll see how things go from there i guess.

    EDIT: and x2, LS gears are VERY long lol, but i love them for daily driving, especially highway cruising, 3000rpms at 70mph.

    I ran one of the 2004 V6 Accords with my GSR. I'm not sure what that body style Accord runs but I had no problem beating it. I never ran my GSR in the 1/4th but in the 1/8th I ran a 9.5 and I can't remember what kind of MPH I got with it. How much of a difference is there between the 2004 and the 2008 V6 Accords?

    I don't think much. accord v6s were 15.0 when 99 v6 was out and they got faster from there. I imagine it was prob a 20hp difference maybe a 14.4-14.5

    the new coupe 6 speed is a pretty baller car

    I've seem stock gsr (I/h/e) run 14.8-15.0 prob around the 160-165 whp range

    Only one way to find out.

    Most people are average track drivers so it's anyones guess. Depends on tires , shift points etc

    lsvtec with pr3 pistons if you have a nice header and itr cams itr style intake manifold tuned CAN make 180-185 whp but with an ls trans it'll run like shit compared to a b16 trans.

    So it depends what your car is making what tires etc

    yup, thats an LS trans...

    I think the only way that setup can REALLY break 14s is for it to be in a hatchie, like a gutted EG or EF... or a very very gutted G2 integra

    You should just run the Accord and see how the outcome is, if you win you win and if you lose you lose, it's still all fun at the end anyways. It will probably be a good run, just make sure you got your A game on.

    only one way to find out...

    Just depends on how built the "lsvtech" is. If it's relatively stock i'd put my money on the accord. Moseley on here had a 04' 6 speed intake/header/exhaust and i'm not sure if it was or wasn't tuned but IIRC it put down close to 230whp. The car had no trouble beating on stockish 350z's. Seeing you could get one 2.0 or better I wouldn't doubt a high 13 or over 100 in the 1/4 with bolt on's

    Ok Tony, I am going full weight and as for running the Fg where's the middle? Is it stock? I'm gonna run my boys 1st he has CAI and drop thats it.

    right now its just intake and exhaust. i dont know where you live, but i live in kennesaw so you can try to figure out what the middle is.
