Say I say MSPi built me a 400hp sohc nonvtec block. I post this all over the web. At some point some kid w/ enuffheart or enuff money WILL call that shop and inquire. They may try to "protect" me as a valued customer for 1 or 2 calls. But at some point they are gonna say "look, Baby J is a good customer. We eat lunch together - we fuck off @ the shop together - but his car does NOT make what he said it does". At some point yoru card will get called.
Now... is Tommy tryna "play" the OP so he sets something up w/ him to get drug down the road? Doubt it - what does Tommy have to lose/gain by it - IP is on the map w/ or w/out Stone.
I still would love to see that car run - 10.x w/ a license plate is smoking hot no matter who you are. But MARK MY FUCKING WORDS... there is a LOT of engineering to turn 10.9x to 9.9x Stone. Not a hater - I'd love to see it happen. My offer for steak still stands when you get the car here.
