First of all, don't no body want to drive. Everyone thinks shit is "too far" unless it the fucking V meet on Thursdays. No one wants to stay out late enough to get shit done.

Pretty much sums it up that 90% of the people in here are too bitch made to put them on the street. No ones cares about the track. We can all go and have a good time. Put them on the street and we'll get somewhere.

i do agree with you smacked, but really....how many of these boys could line up and do a dig race with you. how many could line up with me, nick, etc. most of these boys dont have really fast cars, or they just wanna roll race.....when we meet at a spot there isnt enough room for a roll race usually. its hard enough to find a 1/4 dig spot on the street.

Then all the "cool" people grew up and had kids and got responsibilities. Then it got lame on the streets. Then some faggot ass crew called SM started posting in the KF with all of their cronies and made all of IA think that the KF wss where the races got discussed, when in reality it was all just a bunch of bench racers...and now here we are.

i dont think its the KF that is the issue. i think its the ppl it attracts. ppl love to see fast cars and money being bet on street races. its a cool life. a young person that has a good job and car kinda life. but you get ppl in that dont like to race or just like to talk shit and cause issues.

IS.net was a good site to set up races. everyone over there raced and you got to set up a race with someone you didnt even know to race. and when we went out, we had great turn outs.

i dont know how to solve the prob other than lets go out and race and yall come join us, we will meet up at midnight...i know me and smacked will be there

First off let me say I don't street race anymore due to a personal conflict I have with it, but if you do I don't care. Hell I still like to watch sometimes. I will race at the track though when time permits me to. Anyways, here has been the worst thing that I hate about the few meets that I have been to. I pull up and before I can get over to talk to anyone I know some 16- 20 year old kid will see my FMIC and ask if I want to run his n/a hatch with a swap, or his bolt on SRT-4 or so on. from a roll. First off if you are gonna ask for a race then learn your cars. I popped my hood for the kid in the hatch I was referring to and he still insisted. Even if I was going to race I would not waste my time or license racing a car like that, especially just for the fun of it. Then when I decline they just keep on and on. And I know then they go back over to their freinds and talk shit saying I'm scared and shit. People have just gotten to where they don't want drama. If you wanna race I say take it back old school and go back to the Hole with 500 people there watching. That was the good ole days. Prolly to hot to go there now for long though. Just my .

it was poppin 5-6 years ago when i was racing every fri/sat/sunday night. BUt back then, it was ALL Dig Races, it was mostly Hondas, 240s, occasional v8.

No one had 500whp turbo or NA cars, it was RARE. I mean i had a 190whp 2000lb CRX and was beating almost anyone that came out.

Then i build my BIG motor, i made 240whp out of a 2.0l in a 1800lb CRX< and suddenly, everyone was 100 times faster. You had 400-500whp turbo cars EVERYWHERE. And they all wanted to do roll races. I was an all motor guy FOREVER, and the game changed. There is no way an NA honda can compete with a 500whp Turbo 4 or 6 cylinder on the highway.

So now you have cars that make a ton more power, and IMO break a lot more often.

Man and back then shit was different, you lost, you lined them up again, you lost, you went home changed some shit and came back the next weekend.

Now, people act like its the end of the world if you lose. And if you talk shit, people want to fight you.

Like i remember beating people and being polite about it "hey man youll get me next time". Deep down i was like "I BEAT THAT ASS" but everyone was always polite and friendly at the end of the day.
