I have no dog in this fight, but my self experience with one of the individuals in this whole ordeal.... And what I'm about to say needs to be said for a grater good.
In all arguments one person (women or men) have to be the wise person and walk away; if no one walks away the argument will escalate to the next level. Soon after this it becomes a chain reaction.
There are many laws that protect the instigators, but there are many ways to protect your self from them too. Asking a person to "back off" or "do not come any closer" will help in the argument escalates to a tragedy. Once you give fair warning that you feel threaten by "X" person approaching you if person "X" has no intentions will stop, otherwise will keep coming at you and you can protect your life....
We and when I say we I mean the all of the E-community.. WE need to be a little more responsible with the words we chose to type in this forums.... We have to stop hiding behind the excuse that is the world wide web I can say as I want and go as I need....
If we keep doing this some one not in control of their anger will end up in jail because some instigator never back down.....

Laws aren't made for protection, they're put in place of things people choose to not try to understand.
Avoiding situations perpetuates the REAL problem. I'm thinking this chick, and maybe IEvo learned something from that night. Maybe that broad didn't know what she was capable of. But then again, if both of them are ignorant...they learned nothing.
I think the whole situation was a good thing.
Human kind are capable of the most horrible things, some of those things were trigger by nothing.... Being able to talk smack or get someone to the point were they turn aggressive is nothing worse than the person that its weak mind gives up and throws the first punch....

No, the problem is the people who try to act like they're "above" that. We're ALL capable of this crap, and the closer you are to understanding that the more able you are to deal with it.
The more you try to hide it, the more it builds up...and the more surprising and uncontrollable it is when it "happens." Thacker and Btstone pretty much lost it as well, but were in MUCH better control of themselves.
The people who turned violent and dangerous, were the nicely dressed clean cut "upstanding members of society." That's the thing....it's all BS, and people need to get a greater understanding of themselves rather than living a lie.
Sometimes it's very healthy and enlightening to push people to that point. Because, like we said before....had these people acted that way with a DIFFERENT crowd, the outcome could have been VERY nasty for them. Hopefully they saw the possibilities of what COULD happen and learned something from it...rather than getting a horrible lesson further down the road by having them react this way with the wrong people.
Of course, if they do that crap again and get themselves hurt or killed, then good riddance....ignorance is the most dangerous thing in the world, and I have no pity for people who refuse to learn anything from their experiences.

The thing people are missing, is they are relating physical threats and attacks with racing shit talk. Two completely different things. The ones saying that iEvo was backed into a corner, threatened, and pretty much forced to act this way are so completely wrong.
Thacker never physically threatened him, Thacker never physically got closer to him or cornered him. The only thing he said was that he fucked up and was way out of line by making fun of Maggie (his girlfriend).
Btstone was out of line by going over and leaning up against the car. Had I known ahead of time what was gonna happen, I probably would have spoken up....but I don't feel it's my place to tell people what they can and can't do. I really didn't feel him going over there was going to cause the situation that ended up ocurring. But I did feel it was "wrong" of him to walk over and start leaning up against someone's property without having their permission. It still doesn't justify that chick's reaction.
I'm not debating who was fully right, or who was fully wrong....OBVIOUSLY there are better ways to deal with this situation than how BOTH parties acted. But the shit talking, the video camera.....it was just words, nothing else. Maybe some humility, but so what? The people who are iEvo's friends would have remained his friends, the people who don't like him would have still not liked him....it wouldn't have made ANY difference. Moving that situation to something physical was not only wrong (just as talking shit to these kids was "wrong" when they asked to be left alone), but it was OVER THE LINE. And it was at that point, and only that point, that things actually turned DANGEROUS.
There's no reason for that, none of that can be justified, it was COMPLETELY unnecessary......period. I find it scary and sad how many people support this kind of action. Has nothing to do with whose side you're on, who your friends are or your "crew".....the real issue is the apparently large group of people who think it's ok to resort to physical violence simply because someone was mouthing off about racing.
