Sounds like we need a road racing subforum.

I would LOVE to see a "Road Race/Time Attack/ Auto-x" section....really badlyOriginally Posted by SmackedInATL
That'd be good but the community is really small in here. I am probably the only one here consistantly that's consistently at some race track 8-15 weekends a year doing something worth watching with a video camera.Originally Posted by SmackedInATL
Appealing to the road racing community is like catering to the gay community in real life. No one really wants to but eventually everyone has to.Originally Posted by OnURleft
You should take reading comprehension 101. Nobody is asking you to appeal to anyone, I just said blocking out other varieties of racing is insane.Originally Posted by ThackerSS
Edit: Also the forum will never make money sticking to "straight line racing."
I'm sorry but the most successful car boards all thrive with huge racing sections, typically either with road racing as the most popular or including it in the topics. I.A should go look at Bimmerforums if they ever want to make 1/5th of what that site makes annually.

There's enough retards in the world for the school systems to justify giving them their own bus... so I don't doubt it.Originally Posted by matthewAPM

Your ignorance is amazing. I'd like to invite you to come out to the track sometime to try to enlighten you because unfortunately you actually need balls out there, and money, and skill. I'm not hating, but next time we are at Road Atlanta you can come up there and go for a ride and grasp a greater understanding for physics. Oh and Thacker,
My brothers long time girlfriend (maybe fiancee soon) family owns a strip. They got Vipers, Chevelle's, old and new Vette's, 1/8th mile cars 1/4 mile cars and I've been in the 7-8 second car thing and i've driven them all and I do love it, but it aint shit compared to what you can do on a road course
