Default the lil ol neon MIGHT handle

well atleast better than a stock one would LOL atleast it wont be so prone to the rear of it kickin out, im trying not to wreak/flip/total this one or break my neck!

best part, they were free. thanks to don jackson mitshu!!! :boobies:

they are BC suspension 32 dampening inverted coilovers with pillow ball mounts and rear camber plates. pretty much the best you can get for the "SRT4"

these also allow the use of slicks, cause on the stock suspension large tires hit the spring perch.

Sweet! Glad to see after you took your time you're getting back into a SRT4. Be careful this time!

thanks, for sure. they handle so crappy im hoping this will help. i wreaked my last one cause i was driving too fast and the rear kicked out when i hit the brakes going over a hill and i couldnt bring it back

these will really help stabilize the car, and i dont drive like that on the street anymore anyways.

Yea. That will help you change your driving habits regardless. lol Any wreck will for the most part. Well, can't wait to see more done with it. A guy in HS got a white one with blue stripes and it was pretty quick. Thought they looked aggressive for a fwd. lol

bought the car from don jackson mitshu dealership with ebay coilovers sleeves and blown shocks. the idiots they have over there couldnt understand why the car drove like total shit and the manager of the used car department told me to figure out what it took to fix the car and they would pay for it.

i told them the shocks were blown cause of the coilover sleeves and i could take it to dodge who would charge $823 for stock suspension and another $750 for labor or they could buy me these and id install them and told them id rather have these and it would save them a couple hundred bucks and they went for it!

i dont mean to burst your bubble, but braking mid corner in almost ANY car will bring the rear out, ESPECIALLY if youre at the top of a hill where the car is already a little light. stock srt4s have some of the bast suspension you can get on a car, at least from the factory. these will definitely help, but you should look into some autocrosses or track days.

soft as fawk! 6k front/4k rear. i wanted 8k/6k but they didnt have them in stock and i would have them for another 2 months and the car is undriveable right now cause the shocks BLOWN, you cant even drive it its so bad.

i guess its not so bad cause the car will only see lil tally maybe once or twice a year. i want give it shot since i have never done road racing but its not my main focus for the car. the car will NEED brakes soon so that is next and sway bars are on the list for sometime this summer.

im a noob to road racing but i want to atleast try it, it looks fun

First off, the OP needs to learn how to drive a FWD. car gets sideways, GET ON THE GAS!

Thats the dumbest shit I have EVER heard. They SUCK ASS stock....really. That is there downside. Lots of power but dont turn for shit. The suspension geometry is terrible. Talk to Stan Wilson about it, he will tell you the only thing they have going for them is power. They same with KC ST. They are not competitive at all. Just cant get them to turn.

is true, i have a few friends that have been active in road racing for awhile and im going to go out to some track days with them and have them ride along and help me where i can be helped. like i said im a noob to it for sure and i dont have the best car for that type of racing by any means so im not trying run 1:10's or anything over there, i just want to go have fun

im really happy to have these cause i can even out the rake of the car so its not so tail happy. its still a fwd car but with the rake these have from the factory with that heavy ass iron block the rear tends to slide around very easy.

this suspension will just make the car safer, make it handle better than it does for the times i do go to the track and im able to fit slicks on the car for drag racing

My stock clutch was replaced at 90K miles. I had at least 220 time slips by the time the new clutch went in. S3 was put in at 12K miles BTW.

many people that track these cars have told me that this is a great compromise between daily driving and road course racing once or twice a year. i did my research and talked to people that have raced SRT4's at the track for years and this was what was recommended by them

    WhatTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?

So you are saying that they are measuring weight with distance?????

So if our car is 11,600sqin we have 8 kilograms per sqin (assuming we are talking about square inches) = 92,800 Kilograms

or is it like this, the coil is X long (measure in inches) and then you multiply by 8 kilograms (the rating of the coil) ???

So, from the pictures I can tell the coil it's a 5 to 6in long, the we multiply it by 8 kilograms = 48 kilograms witch it will make it a low rider neon

Could you elaborate on your comment????

BC rates their springs weird. proper measurements would be 336lbs front and 224lbs rear. like i said i wasnt going for an aggressive set-up at all, the car wont see but 1 maybe 2 road course track days a year.
