Well GM Warrenty does not cover worn out clutches but they do cover recalls.see now i knew this would happen

GM and their recalls is hilarious. First the Z06 with their cracked frames, the clutch fucks up on new C6's, C6 verts having hydraulic issues, etc... it never seems to end.
i'm not saying GM is the worst about this, but at least with your pride and joy, make sure everything is perfect before sending it out. My truck has numerous issues...but it's a truck. who cares?
