Racing from a roll I guess is sort of like masturbation. It can be fun.... but it's not the real thing.

Sorry, but when you have a valid reason for only running from a roll... like... way too much HP to EVER hook from a dig... then it might be ok.

However in your case... your car doesn't fall into that category.

There's nothing interesting to me about 2 / 13 second cars going from a 20 mph punch just because YOU can't drive worth a ****.

And BTW, I am still running the stock gears. First runs to 50-60, second to 75-85, and third runs out to over 100-110 depending on the size tire I have in the rear of the car.

Having gears doesn't magically make a car suck from a rolling start, especially not in my case considering the flat ass torque curve from 2800-6400 rpm. There's nothing magical about my car from a dig, I just figured out how to launch an IRS car which most people have problems with.

don you have to be good at shifting to be able to go from a roll? i mean you claim to be the god of 6spd shifting, so roll racing should be your thing. ever heard the term " two equal cars racing all comes down to the driver mod!" i mean hell that should be your class right there? the win comes down to who can shift there car the best!

have you ever realized that roll racing is the same as dig racing? once out past the 60' your doing nothing more than roll racing!

or are you not going to admit that your afraid to a lose to a 4cyl car that you make fun of all the time?

when are you going to let your balls drop and realize its not always about winning...its about having fun! hell your "stock" gto, is go god awful fast, you should be calling out built vettes, vipers, hell all those 11 sec cars since your the king of the streets!

Wow u r probably the dumbest person alive. Getting to the 60 ft mark is the hard part. Roll racing begins with both cars going at the same speed. Anyone can punch the gas from a roll and even if the higher horsepower car shifts slower it is a lot harder to make up the horspower difference with driver mod.

Why would he call out built vettes and cars way out of his league. When someone races for money of course they are going to line up with cars in their bracket that they think they can beat. Why the hell woud u put money on a run when u r damn near certain going to lose.

holy crap thacker has a nutswinger! i would have never guessed!

lets see, from what your saying people could start making races to just the 60' mark, sense you seem to claim that, that is the hardest part of racing! i would agree launching is hard, but once both partys launch it comes down to shifting! and sense thacker claims to be the god of 6spd shifting, roll racing should be no problem for him!

now your 2nd part, thacker claims he has a stck low 13 sec car, when everyone nows his car runs in the mid to low 12's! and sense he claims to be so great at both launching and shifting, he should step his game up! i mean think about it, all he does is call people out who admit that they dont try to always launch there car, so there not great at it. plus most have jobs and have to work to play. not everyone can be like thacker and live in gandmas basement unemployed, and go out everyone night and race. so he calls out people he now he has almost 100% chance of winning against!

then when someone in his leadgue he knows he will lose against, he comes up with excuses to why he cant or wont run!

so what he needs to do is step his game up and start challenging cars that will give him a run! some that he's not quarented to win against!

if thats the case then there should never be a roll race unless your faster than 4 seconds, and are making more than 7000hp
