Default How slow are 6 speed Chrysler Crossfires?

Because I basicly paced one to 130 on my way to Mexico. He claims he was giving it his all but I wasn't putting up much effort. They couldn't be that slow could they?

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.

yeah they are. was it an srt-6 one or just regular. there ugly and slow and have horrible interiors. the only good thing about them is th espoiler which raises and lowers. thats cool. but thats it. the srt-6 one should be decent. but i dont know the specs.

srt-6 is very quick off the line (since they're all autotragic w/traction control)
I got into it with one, i got him off the line well... but then i missed 2nd lol. I gave up right then and that damn thing took off.

the base engine barely makes 200hp/220tq iirc but the s/c srt6 makes around a 100 more so I'm guessing it was the standard?

It wasn't the SRT6, which I've seen one of those before. It was a white hatch I was basicly pacing. I think I probably would've gotten murdered by the SRT6. I heard those can hang with the regular C6 vettes in stock form.

the srt's claim about 330bhp iirc... i doubt they'd hang with a c6 tho... they're quick, just not c6 territory.

the base models have a top speed of 140ish, but it takes them FOREVER to get up there. yeah they're pretty slow. the only hinge i like about them is they're basically a benz slk with a chrysler body.

The base ones are low 15's cars. Not fast. 215hp maybe 3300-3400lbs...I know the owner of that car too.

i hadn't read the part about mid 13s, but no, thats not bad at all. definatly about a half second slower than the vettes tho... maybe a little more, depending on the driver

They are very slow. I raced and spanked 2 different ones in my G35. The SRT6 is avail in a 6 speed in Europe....which doesn't make much sense to me...

ive seen stock crossfire coups run high 14's on the track. they are rated for 14.7's but i dont think they could manage that unless u have one fluckin good driver in it. i raced one with twin intakes, chipped ecu, and borla exaust and got him by almost a car, and i run 14.8's.
