You guys have been pretty cool, so here it is-
1000 horsepower rolls royce helicopter engine hooked to a 9 inch ford rear through a custom transfer case.
This thing puts on a hell of a show but it uses a lot of fuel, I'm hoping after I prove myself that I can get some paid exhibition runs. I don't think there's anything else like it out there anywhere.
I'll do burnout contests with the afterburners wide open. I'll do sick long john force style burnouts with the afterburners wide open, full 1/4 mile runs with the afterburners wide open and I'll torch anything that no one needs anymore "i.e. any french made car" with the afterburners. The afterburners don't really add any power, they're just for show but they use a hell of a lot of fuel ans make plenty of fire and smoke.
Since the video was taken a full rollbar and firewall were installed between the drivers ompartment and gas turbine. I drive this thing every day using the stock front wheel drive 3.8L V6. Saftey is a major concern.
The turbine is on rails so it can be rolled forward and the rear tinted windows can be closed so it looks like a plain old van. Imagine this thing pulling up to the burnout box.... everyone will be laughing then they won't be able to hear anything as the turbine starts, the afterburners kick in and the rear tires go up in smoke until they explode. We could line up some unsuspecting suckers and humiliate them by being spanked by the soccermom batmobile
The rear engine compartment will light up and there will be some great space for some sponsorship logos. If anyone out there is an event co-ordinator or a track owner and would like a little demonstration, let me know. I'm not looking to get rich, I just want to give the crowds something to enjoy and make enough money to cover my expenses.
Here's some pics at my friends site-

Here's some more-
Thank you everyone for your patience and please let me know if this thing could posibly have a future as an exibition vehicle.
Also, go to Krugtech over at youtube
There's a video of the first pass down the track. I popped the afterburners a little on the line and only did the 1/8th mile but it cranked out a 7.65 @ 96 mph. With the way this thing builds torque on the top end we'e hoping for mid to high 11's. Not too bad for Sears Goodyear Assurance radials.
You guys like it or what?
