Still have my S4 but it's completely stock now still restoring/building my Sr-510...Trying to sell the S4 finish the datsun and prolbably do the same. After all thats done I would get a pick up truck or nice luxary suv.
I agree with charles on this one....fuck performance cars. I would rather take all that money invested into performance parts and throw it into stocks, and get ready for early retirement
Do both. Maybe not to an extreme on either side, though.Originally Posted by St0lenR

Little bit into cars, little bit into 401k/investments.
Good advice in the last couple of posts. Thats exactly what I'm doing this summer; working overtime since I'm not taking classes, using a little for the car and a little for investment. Always best to start young.

Its rough if you start from scratch completely.. its going on two years and I cannot explain how depressing it can be not to have what you want, but the sacrifice is paying off. Got the house, 401k, and once the business is doing well I will make up for all of this lost time with interest.Originally Posted by St0lenR
Well see, I was trying to do both. "i bought my house and my datsun at the same time...after investing soo much in car i realized how much i could've have put into my house to make the value go up. We all live and learn and make mistakes and ya maybe after i get myself situated and have enough to play with then i might get back into the car thing again but it won't be to go fast it will simply be a restoration projectOriginally Posted by tony
As long as you know your priorities.
And Tony, I know it takes a lot of self discipline to get to where you're at. Being an enthusiast and keeping your cool when you could've made cars a priority.
The payoff is always worth it.
Compound Interest FTW!
I'm going to minor in Finance, and can't stress the importance of saving smart, and saving early for your "golden years"![]()
