-ABS lip

OK guy's I have a question about ABS material.

Im trying to purchase a lip for my civic (01-03), but all the one's I found on ebay are made out of ABS plastic. I heard that ABS plastic brakes really easy?
So is ABS material that bad :???: . What ya'll think

happened to me when i got an abs lip it was just like a half an inch short. pissed my off so bad

I had an ABS lip on my EJ1. Opossum > ABS
