I cant put the link to ebay on here so if you are interested in looking at it on ebay you will have to search for it. It is under the mitsubishi lancer section on ebay.

I am asking $50,000 but am taking offers over $40,000 right now.

This vehicle is a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII or Evo 8 in immaculate condition. It currently makes 665 all wheel horsepower on vp motorsport 105 fuel (50% vp 116 and 50% 93 octane) and methanol injection. It was purchased new with the following options; hardtop, power windows, air conditioning, xenon headlights. I am the second owner of the vehicle and Batlground Engineering performed all the maintenance for the original owner at our shop. The car was built by Batlground Engineering for use as a street car that can be taken to the track on the weekends. It was brought to the drag strip ONE TIME and ran a 10.55 second pass in the 1/4 mile with drag radials on the stock rims on it. The car has not been drag raced again and does not have a roll cage. The car was brought to Little Talladega Gran Prix and it ran a 1 minute 10 second lap time with the 18 inch rims and the street tires on it. It has never been back to a road course since then. I SAY AGAIN, THE CAR HAS BEEN TO THE DRAG STRIP ONE TIME AND TO THE ROAD COURSE ONE TIME AND HAS NEVER BEEN ABUSED. Nitrous has never been used on the car but the intake manifold is tapped for nitrous nozzles. It is a true street car with a mild stereo system and dvd player. It has the largest turbo that you can put on a bottom mount t3 manifold and retain the air conditioning and the power steering. THE CAR HAS THE AIR CONDITIONING AND POWER STEERING AND THE FULL SIZE RADIATOR. The drivability and comfort of the car were not compromised in any way when it was built. It is a daily driver car that can be brought to the drag strip or the road course on the weekends. The motor, brake pads, rotors, transmission, transfer case, clutch, turbo kit, intake manifold, fuel system, intercooler, piping, boost gauge, bov, and stereo system have 2500 miles on them which are mostly highway miles to and from work. The aem ems, aem 5 bar map sensor, aem iat sensor, aem cdi and the msd coils have 5000 miles on them. The boost controller, methanol kit, exhaust, cusco underbraces, and tein basic coilovers have 8000 miles on them. The rest of the car has 35,500 miles on it and is in immaculate condition. The oil is changed every 1000 miles in the car and the transmission, transfer case and rear differential fluid is changed every 2000 miles. The vehicle gets inspected every 1000 miles when the oil is changed. The vehicle is a shop owned car and no expense was spared while we were building the car or maintaining the car. This car has over 100 hours of custom engine management tuning by Batlground, which is an authorized and accredited AEM EMS TUNING FACILITY. The only reason we are selling this car is because we need to make room for another new project car. The car is titled in an individuals name and is not titled in a business name. The graphics on the car are all vinyl stickers that were professionally applied. The paint is not damaged under or around the stickers. I pulled off a number of the vinyl stickers the day the auction started to verify this.

It said in the description that we were taking offers above $40k. It got up to $38k (it didn't sell) but now we are getting lots of emails about it. We're going to re-list it soon.

Tracy, there are a few things to consider with the Ebay auction that may help also. The fact that your feedback rating is only a 1, may make people hesitant to bid on the car because they dont know if you are legit or not. Then on top of that, by not listing a VIN number, it still gives off that vibe. So a few things to consider that may be holding back the potential of the sell on ebay.

Your car is amazing and can say I am glad I had the pleasure of seeing it at the shop at the BBQ's. I wish you the best of luck in your sell and can't wait to see what you do next.

Thanks for the advise.

I can't change the fact that we have only one sale on e-bay right now. WE WILL NOT LIST THE VIN! Makes it easier to steal. It's a $50k car...not going to happen. We're not talking about a Hundai here. I think most people would understand that :)

The good thing about the ebay auction is that people are looking at it and we are getting e-mails abut it. It's good advertising for the sale of the car either way. They don't have to bid on it.

I may be wrong but I dont think that car ever made a pass in nearly stock form, actually hes right Tracy its been to the track twice. Once on the stock turbo and once on the big setup

We are referring to the new engine setup and all of the new parts. Who cares if it made a pass on an engine that's not in the car anymore? Do we really need to be that nit picky? Or is someone just trying to call us out? I mean, give me a break.

**edit I said one pass, but as is says in the original post made by Dan, it has been to the track once. Not one pass (my mistake). I think it made 4 passes that day? 2 in the 12's, 2 in the 10's.

The car has only made one 1/4 mile pass on this setup.

Tracy

when you guys say "pass on an engine" what you guys talking about?

There used to be an engine in the car. It was stock. It threw a rod. It caused a bigg ass hole in the block. It was obviously unusable after that. So we replaced it with an entirely new engine and then stroked it. Then we built the tranny and replaced the transfer case to handle the new power of the new 2.3 stroked engine. So all of that being said...since the NEW ENGINE THAT IS STROKED HAS BEEN IN THE CAR, THE CAR HAS BEEN TO THE TRACK ONCE. IT DOESN'T SAY ONE PASS IN THE ORIGINAL POST IT SAYS "I SAY AGAIN, THE CAR HAS BEEN TO THE DRAG STRIP ONE TIME AND TO THE ROAD COURSE ONE TIME AND HAS NEVER BEEN ABUSED"
Make sense. I assume that Fr33way and latoilette are interested in purchasing the car? If so, please e-mail me [email protected]

Thanks for your interest.

That's right you did! I guess while we are thanking Matt for the purchase/build of our Evo, we should also thanks the other thousand or so customers of Batlground in the past 6 years for their contributions! Maybe we should also add a thanks for helping us pay our light bill, our mortgage, and for our dyno, and for our welder, and for our Supra, and for dinner, and for getting my hair done, and for my chinchillas and my gerbils (lord knows I can't survive without my little babies).......I guess you get the point.
