There is nothing wrong with eagle cranks, someone dropped that crank before it was put in.

Jeremy @ Inline Pro stuffed SCAT crank into my new block... it's (the motor)yet to be installed but this is a quote from my ORIGINAL inquiry with him. We hassled on pricing in the end, but he simply would NOT install an Eagle crank. LOL.
"For 85mm you have to sleeve the engine.
$1075 to sleeve the engine
$1250 to bore, hone w/torque plate, hot tank, balance,
blueprint, file fit the rings, measure bearing clearance,
and shortblock assembly.
$799 for 95 or 98mm Scat crankshaft( I would 100% not use
eagle crankshafts we have had a ton of problems with them.
They are junk!)
$339 Eagle rods $799 if you use custom length
$650 custom CP pistons(off the shelf pistons will not work
with a stroker motor)
$99 ACL bearing set (you should only use the race bearings
if it going to be a track only car)
$99 custom MLS gasket(you do not want to use copper)
$139 ARP Headstuds
$139 factory oil pump(the toda gears have problems) We run
a factory pump on our 800whp integra that rev's to
10200rpm and we have never broken an oil pump
$75 Factory timing belt(I have seen issues with the greddy
one)
$40 misc gaskets
$250 Supertech valves
$399 Inlinepro Springs and Titanium retainers
$60 Hardened Keepers
$1250 Race Port job on the cylinder head
$699 cams
$650 top end assembly including checking valve to valve
contact, valve to piston, plus valve adjustment

i saw that on h-t he said it happened right after he installed his clutch
one reason not to use a stage 54 clutch on a NA motor LOL
but ya Eagle cranks are shit, there is a guy in town who SAYS he has an eagle crank, but i think its a SS autochrome LOL
