if anyone is down some of the mr2s guys are getting togeather for a mountain run at deals gap. I will warn you now from recent mountain runs there will be a good amount of speeding and the mr2 guys are balls to walls as far as driving goes so be prepared for anything...

all the mr2 guys sign up here, if you dont have an mr2 and want to be on the list let me know....

God damned closed weekend...

The vortex is going up this weekend as well. Be on the lookout for a series of mostly jettas. Thats the clan I usually run with.

So Preludes, Maximas, NSXs, MR2s, Jettas, and a bunch of hondas from carolinahondas.com? Man, it's going to be crowded factoring in the 200 or so people from some bike group that's staying at that hotel at the base of the dragon!

Hey, britto...my engine is less than a month from being dropped in. Just a few more parts and I'll have:
Upgraded front-end suspension
Upgraded front-end brakes
Upgraded exhaust
Engine swap

SO can't wait

No, I can't make it this weekend. I'm in the corps up here at NGCSU, and it's a closed for weekend for something called "Gold Rush". However, I got so pissed that I can't make it that I've set up for a blue-ridge mountain run with the vortex to take place here in about 2-3 weeks, so try to make it this time! I wanna see both you and that lude back out on the streets!

I'm so hyped about my car gettin' built. Maybe you and I can do a run or two down the strip sometime..just for shits and giggles.

How's Mal doin'? Hope he's doin' well...we need to get together, again, and have a drink!

hehe... you crack me up. Congrats on the car... when is it gonna be totally finished? I finally installed that new rod bearing and I still have some slight rod knock so I'm gonna have to start over with a new crank. Not horribly expensive or anything, just time consuming since I have to pull the motor again. Other than that I'll have to get the new crank machined and balanced.

Mal is doin great. We both love our new house and he's doing really well in his new school. I'll be sure to take plenty of pics this weekend since you're missin out! Let me know when you can get together homie!

A whole new crank? Are you serious? Dang...I didn't know that much damage had been done!

The car (engine wise) will be temporarily done in probably about two weeks. Just getting the basic motor swap outta the way. Upgrades and build will come later.

Glad to hear you and Mal are doin' well, we definitly need to get together on one of my open weekends.

I probably didn't see anyone because of how late I got into town on Sat. We didn't run the dragon until 10pm (one time back and forth). And then Sunday we started out on the Cherahola skyway first (saw a group of 300z's though) and did the Dragon later in the day (when most weekenders already left).
