I bought one for my brother when he graduated high school. It worked fine for about a year, but then it started freezing up/shutting off randomly.

Well Im at work, and Im trying to charge it on the office comp. It's charging, but it's low and its been low for like 3 hrs. It's just a red bar and the lighting icon. Does anyone know A: if I have to load the software, before I can load it fully? and B: is this mac compatible?

i've had two...had an old 20gb nomad jukebox...still works great today...just battery life was crappy...but it always was (got it in 2002)

now I have a zen vision m...couldn't be happier. to me is way better than an ipod...especially in video format support.
