For 1 1/2hours on sunday I tried to get this guy to race, I even gave 4 cars and the move from a roll and he wouldnt. I even agreed to a dig race if we can go to 130 and he wouldnt. For 450post in the other thread he bullshited about racing. Even when I was clear as day about racing only him from a dig motor vs motor he would do it. now for another 25 pages he doing the same thing and contiuous shit talking. I am all about a little shit talking to keep things entertaining. Just about everyone in the kills forum knows I will race just about anyone and you think I am scared of that pos. I've had a red 99 z28 w/ ron jeremy cam (named by me), 4.30's in a 12 bolt, 27.5 et streets. Ran it at Steele and SDR all the freaking time.. Importlounge member as well as on ls1tech..

A Black 2004 Gto I got for 18k, but sold a month later for 20k. Ran it at SDR once.

Then I bought a 2000 z28, which I had alot mods for but never really modded it.. Only took it out once or twice.. and one eatonton visit.

Doubt you've seen any of them.. maybe so.. But you don't sound familiar.I like money too much to finish a car now adays for some reason.. Maybe I'm getting old. I don't mind betting a 100 or 200 on a race tho once in a blue moon. I will have a car again.. but probably not til next year.. I'll have a heck of alot money to spend on it than I used to ;)

hell yeah thats fast to me! Im 19 and drive a fuckn 200rwhp IS3. 600hp is DAMN fast to me. Im way outta my league, but seriously ne thing above 300hp is quick. ne thing about 4 is relatively fast.. if ur break 500+hp/torque ur fast in my book. I fully PLAN to be at 5-650rwhp/toque range..but ya never know, shit always seems to come up. But yes that is fast to me. I am new to all this but im not stupid. He can drive that damn camaro and drive it well. He's not thacker so dont treat em as such.. When I met him personally he was cool as fuck so Idk what the deal is on here, but I dont know em very well. Ne ways, yes 5-600hp is fast to me. But at some point it im sure it wont be. 800-900 hp supras run 11s, while 350-400 hp mustangs and camaros run11s how can you tell how fast a car is by dyno numbers. Making a car "work" is how you make a fast car.

why you need an excuse...we lets see....tell me if i am correct about any of the facts here....your car with u in it is around 2800lbs makes around 450+ to the wheels. Your tranny is a very weak point right at 400rwhp...you are racing the SS from the stop which means you will have to launch pretty hard to have a remote chance of "catching" him by the end of the race....and beside the 75% of you braking your tranny you will be out of money that you are betting unless u have bunch of cheerleaders front the money for you.....so i dont think your car is goin to be out of the paint shop on saturday to race......just a speculation..i hope its out so i can make some money on this race...

When I first joined I was not used to people getting away with poping so much shit, I mean where I grew up, if you talk shit youi get knock the fuck out and you keep steppin and that person just learned a valuble less on shit talking. One of the people I got into it with was our very own kills forum mod. and after 15 pages of shit talking like this one it finally pushed my button and I saw in events section that all 6 people runnin off at the mouth were gonna be at a certain park for an event so me and my boy went up there to see about them. Ot make a long story short, there were no ill intensions ment by them and most appologized, we chatted for a while, and they schooled me to how people talk on IA and to not take things serious. So since then I try to abide by the rules, but every now and then I get some dumb ass that pushes my buttons and I am ready to handle things like I know how. If you talk enough shit you will eventually get a reaction from me. This time it took 900 post so I dont thik I am doing to bad.
As far as thacker goes, when I see him or if someone else I know sees him first it will be on unless HE not your friend, can make things right before then. Until he makes that post who knows what will happen.

Just because most supra owners cant drive or dont set their cars up to drag-race doesnt mean the cars dont have the capability.

I have a question...why are you about the only person in earth who is sticking up for this egghead (except for his "driver" I guess?) I dont personally know either one of you, but after reading posts by and about him on 3 other forums, along with what Ive seen on this forum, the kid has a serious fucking attitude problem, on top of the fact that he obviously lies and changes his story to fit the scenario. Im not sure why you picked this guy to cheerlead for.
Ill admit it sucks to get gang-raped online sometimes, but hes the one who came in here and stepped in the big pile of shit, then tried it kick it back in J and other people's face.
I would suggest you chill and let ole' boy come back on and settle things with J and m3 his damn self. Im not suggesting he come on and kiss anyones ass, but I do suggest the following:

i am friends with him and i also have a camaro..i was there on Sunday and know what happened.....I got sucked into this mess by people calling out my car that they have no clue about. To top it off i said it multiple times that my car doesnt run but some people cant read, so might as well talk some shit and get some races lined up once the car is running since people are so confident in their rides on this message board.

i think i've read this 5-6 times. let me break it down

performance mods = slp headers, exhaust, ported throttle body, futral motorsports fm13 camshaft with manley valvesprings/shims/fms chromoly pushrods

drivetrain mods = strange 12 bolt w/4.11's, spec stage 3 clutch

The car made 376rwhp on this setup and ran [email protected]

This year parts added ls6 intake/asp underdrive/diamond pistons/lunati rods/clevite bearings so spraying the car with a hefty shot won't be a problem.. the car has stock heads, hell i even offered to pull the intake manifold off in the parking lot the other night so they could inspect the intake ports.

Agreed, there are some slow, big HP supras. But, there are some slow, big HP V8 cars too, if they arent setup right. nothings going to ET if its spinning the entire run.

Yeah there in woodstock. They do alot of machine work for me(MKPerformance) so they charged me $110.00 to balance the roatating assembly. Filing rings I thinks runs about 125.00-150.00 and they can do it while you wait:D

Also F-body guys do refer to there cars as cam only when it has bolts as well. Its just understood in the f-body world that if you have the cam 99.999999% you have all the bolt ons as well. performance mods = slp headers, exhaust, ported throttle body, futral motorsports fm13 camshaft with manley valvesprings/shims/fms chromoly pushrods

drivetrain mods = strange 12 bolt w/4.11's, spec stage 3 clutch

The car made 376rwhp on this setup and ran [email protected]

This year parts added ls6 intake/asp underdrive/diamond pistons/lunati rods/clevite bearings so spraying the car with a hefty shot won't be a problem.. the car has stock heads, hell i even offered to pull the intake manifold off in the parking lot the other night so they could inspect the intake ports.ok...so is this the car that's supposed to run nyteryder? there are too many damn f-bodies floating around this peace! :lmfao:

sounds like a typical modded ls1.....and if this is the specs on the one running J, the deciding factor is gonna be how much the ls1 is spraying (I hope at least 200shot or bigger for his sake).......



here's how I think this race will turn out if it happens:

from a dig(ls1 on the bottle): if J can get the 240 out the hole and stay even with him until he gets into 3rd, there will need to be someone at the 1/4 mark to call it.

from a dig to 130 or 140mph(same scenario): same as above until the 120mph mark....J will start to walk.

from any kind of race with the ls1 on motor only....J will get brought up on rape charges :D

Like myself, It seems that there are so many people interested in this race and more than likely the race will go down as it seem. Since money (in the $1000) are flying and getting thrown around, my two cent would be to do it at a strip where it is legal ie commerce; instead of on the street. Perhaps make an event out of it and would give people more opportunity to run their cars as well? Just my two cents.

You're right. You can also run a high CR with forced induction applications as well. Although, you really can't compare compression ratio and boost of one engine to a totally different engine that has a different bore and stroke.

Power comes from Fuel, air, compression, given spark at the right time. Compression ratio is math to help you determine the compression (pressure) you will have at TDC. As most people know to make the most power you are trying to stuff the most air/fuel you can in there at the highest compression your assembly will handle without detonation. In this case, a high quality forged rotating assembly can handle the higher CR and nitrous, it's all only up to a point though. Friction(which is heat) is another factor, this is where the detonation comes in... every enigne has its own dynamic compression ratio which is influenced by mechanical factors variables are adjusted in tuning to prevent detonation. There are so many factors and I can go on and on... and then the question... why do engine builders recomend LOWER CRs on boosted applications... and that is because you will have more options when it comes to matching up the compressions, the amount of boost, cam(s), head(s), intake, exhaust, timing, spark, squish or quench area, surface temps, air inlet temps, fuel, & fuel octane.

The improvement it gives depends on where you start as far as 1/4 mile times.

If it goes from 15 sec to 14 sec then it's definately weak, but when it goes from 12 sec to 11 sec it's nothing to sneeze at.

Ok I remember James saying something about Thacker running the green 325 and wanting to run the 240 - Jeremy is his name I guessing after reading 30+ pages haha.

I've had previous experience with Thacker. He used to always roll through Starbucks revving his motor and what-not and giving it one good rev before he shut it off. He always talked shit about everyones car...till Jake showed up with his Supra. They agreed to a dig...ALL 3!! times Jake beat him by at least a .5 C/L, and all Jake had was a BPU setup, nothing fancy at all. Of course when I called Thacker out on it he came back with the usual excuses of "My clutch was overheating and slipping" and my favorite considering he was on 305 555R's "I have bald tires".....freakin' idiot you have drag-radials on the back when Jake is running just normal radials, nothing special. We have video of the races too for proof, I just have to get ahold of a friend that actually has the tape. After that night I haven's seen him since, yet on every board he seems to run his mouth. One day he'll eventually learn!
