miss fire in cylinder 1 and 2. What could cause this? I just replace the spark plugs and wires, coil, rotor, and cap. The car starts up fine after it has been sitting for a while, once it heats up it acts up. It idles at 500rpm and lobes a little and if it sits idling long enough it will shut down. At stop lights i have to hold the brake and accelerator to keep the car running. someone please help me before i go crazy! :screwy:

well i had that problem...i had really bad idle surge and really rough idle..turned out to be my EGR valve, i removed it and put in a block off plate and now my car idles perfect. did your plugs have any oil on them?
