the cost of living is pretty high, and in the summer its 24 hours of sunlight with 70-80 degree temps and in the winter its dark for 18-22 hours and the temps can go from 30 degrees to -60 degrees overnight. Ive really enjoyed myself there but there really wasnt shit to do in fairbanks, anchorage is really nice though.
