Me Vs 05 stang GT

ok so i was at a spot saterday night when a friend was talking to this girl who said she had a 05 stang GT and i went...ORLY? i've been wanting to run one of theese cars for months. she had a intake, long tube headers, full exhaust and it was tuned on a dyno. 1st run went at it from a 50 roll. this was the closest run i've ever had, later when we watched the vid u had to really listen for the honks cause u could'nt tell when we were running cause we just stayed side by side. everytime me or her shifted we'd fall back 2 feet but then the other would catch back up. it was CLOSE. the 50 roll she got me by a fender. i wanted to go again cause i was pissed...i'm thinking, i've waitied 3 months to run of of theese and i really don't wanna lose. she keept trying to get me at like a 20mph roll cause she knows she will kill me lowend, i was'nt trying to go that low. we ended up going at a 40 kick. the 50 i was at like 3.5k in 3rd but on the 40 i was right at 4k in 2nd gear...hee hee hee. my shifts were good and we were complety even till like 90 and i started pullin just a little. i guess cause i started in a higher RPM i got a better start but i ended up getting her by a fender, barley won....but i won. :D

oh we tried but on the otherside of the highway there was more traffic and somebody cut her off and went 60mph and therefor ruining our tie braker.

yeah that kid was kind of gay laying drag, gees we all know fast cars can burn tires. all that does is piss everyone off and get the cops attention, not mention could loose control and crash. :goodjob: i wasnt "with" him we both have vettes. i left after everyone was laying drag cause i dont need that kind of attention. i like cars, all cars as long as they are real sports cars and not ecno boxes that kids think are sports cars. i like hanging out and talking about cars and driving cars. i really would love to go and street race and lay drag in parking lots but just have too much too loose.

also with this kind of behavior in parking lots IT IS THE REASON COPS GIVE US SHIT IF EVERYONE WOULD CHILL AND ACT OVER TWELVE MAYBE THE COPS WOULD LEAVE US ALONE..............rant over.....

Really, I'm almost positive it was you. Hrm, about a week ago Fri/Sat night I was going home & black C5 Vette w/ Z06 wheels was right beside me, had no cats cause I was getting dizzy from the fumes at the light. Was rolling & all of a sudden I see it fish tailing left & right, put a nice amount of rubber on the street (Barrett Pkwy).

yeah i was out the friday before last till 3am i went home via 75 dont think i laid drag and i def dont fish tail when it does mainly just at about 4k rpms car breaks loose but tracks stright and spin a little in 2nd. does squeal and not too noticable because of the smoke comming out of the engine masks smoke from tires. yeah i am not going to say i have never done stupid shit now i am old enough to now when to do it in a parking lot with cars and people around is not the right time that also goes for the loud ass music f*in people use your heads be disrespectful and get disrespected....

when we were trying to get that 3rd run it she grinded the fuck out of a gear...bad. made me shutter, i was like, daaaaamn :( . but she was downshifting then, when we were going at it she did great.
