does anyone know any information on a 1997 mustang cobra? how much horsepower, weight, 5 or 6 spd? stuff like that

yes thre 5 speed and 305 hp i beleive mid to low 14 sec cars (also depends on driver) 4.6L

well I know that they sound nice when they drive by, all though they don't seem to get anywhere fast and they rattle in the inside while driving

DOHC V8. (redline is 7k I believe)
3300-3400 lbs
5 spd
straight axles (NO IRS)
approx. 7000 coupes and 3000 verts made

pretty much....i beleive these are DOHC and the regualr 4.6 is Sohc or sohv

Yup, 305hp rated from factory, but you can expect to dyno in the 260-270's, some 280's. They're low 14 second cars stock. They're over 3400lb's I know that. Somewhere around 3500 I think is a good estimate. The transmission is a Tremec T45 which isn't a very good transmission to hold power. Most swap out to a built T3650 or the T56 6speed that comes stock in the '00R and 03-04 Cobra.
