i honestly think the new champion will be Integ97, i have heard some rumors about his motor, an i think its going to be sick from the info that i know of. I dont think its really a streetable motor, but its going to make gobs of power.

I enjoyed my time at the top, but like all things, it has to end sometime, and their is ALWAYS someone building something better. My time was short lived, for personal reasons, but it was fun while it lasted. Georgia has some great motors coming out very soon, my old block is not done yet, im building it for another friend of mine with ITBs an a CNC Skunk2 head. it should make 250-260whp an be a beast.

well, as i am telling bee over aim:

Bar Honda had a H motor that was reverse rotation. The heads are turned around backwards on the block, with offset cams an cranks. BIG MONEY motors. 4-5 years ago they were making 350whp, they said with another $50,000 in R&D they might be able to make 370-375whp.

these were fully built race prepped engines. an with Honda sponsoring them, you know they had UNLIMITED funds.

Thats why when Endyn claimed he had a STREET motor that made 400BHP on his engine dyno, everyone called bullshit, he didnt have enough R&D and enough expierience to make that kinda power.

New prototype Rocket Motorsports valvesprings and titanium retainers are in. Need to decide on valves and get them ordered. Then it's just a matter of putting it together, getting a base map chip and installing it in the car. Hopefully by June 20th give or take a few days.

we opted not to make this a high revving motor for longevity. his last motor revved to 10K an after 42k miles the oil pump failed. we went with a bigger disp motor to keep the revs down an have a more useable powerband

I do not think that pump failing would have happened again in a million years... just got lucky (or unlucky). In fact, I see more OEM pumps w/ the Toda/aftermarket oil pump gear failing than I do stock gear pumps. I drove up to Inline Pro to see progress on my block (well, actually I was already in VA visiting some old Air Force buds) and they use OEM pumps for all of their builds that are sub 450whp and sub 9500RPMs. I'd almost bet, that a NEW OEM pump could have taken it (the revs). I think that your pump was already gonna go whether you had it on your motor or mine. I think your pump was just done no matter if you were spinning to to 10k or 7k. Just one of those things. :(

Oil pumps fail at high rpms, nothing you can do about it. If your lucky to get 45k miles out of a oil pump that has seen 9000+rpms, then you know something more than Skunk, DFE, RLZ an anyone else i know.

there is nothing he could have done short of replacing the pump. which we will prob make this a maintanence replacement every 30k or so to be on the safe side.

Absolutely. my heavy ass chassis making only slightly more power than you probably won't be much of a match but it should be interesting. I'm going to play it on the safe side and say I should hopefully be at 180-185whp/120-125lb/ft. Hopefully I will beat those numbers with what we're doing but just to cover the ol' butt I'll shoot for that.
