Yeah we do. :bigok:

The bumper is a royal pain, because the exhaust yellows the polish and wax and I have to clay bar it all off (takes about 1-2 hours) and the re-polish and re-wax.

Halfwit: Hey man! Yeah I'm still daily beating the RB. I got a few new goodies to clean the 240 up for a more enjoyable daily driving feel. Still retaining the sleeper look though :bigok:

Thanks! :bigok:

The RMM lip has been sucessfulyl reproduced in urethane by MVP Motorsports. Many people have already recieved it and installed it. Mine is an original WW/RMM, but makes no difference :D

I should have a dawg come this november, if everything goes as planned...wish me luck! i want a black one or 6sp Rsp if i can find it.

That would be awesome :) Order the part before you get the car, very hard core :bigok:

I would definitely rock a black Supra. Same CCW's I have now, but with black centers. :bigok:

Not sure at this point.

I'm torn between (all with stock block in mind):

Fast spooling - track setup (maybe 450-500 on pump, 550-650 race gas)
Big power - pump (like 600whp on pump, maybe meth injection necessary)
Max of 800whp - C16 (just to say I had 800whp)
I'll likely go with a kit because I've grown tired of fabbing my own turbo setups and there is a huge variety of Supra single kits.

No point in me thinking too much about it now, because I'm sure I will need $3500-5000 for the kit, $1200-2000 for the full fuel system, $600-1800 for fuel management (VPC/GCC combo or AEM EMS or MAP ECU), plus $400-1000 for a clutch depending on my power goals. Not to mention tuning at $150/hour or whatever the going rate is.

Hardtop = within the Supra world

I always wanted a Targa and then when I finally owned one I discovered it just wasnt for me.

Karen, your dawg wins with the interior and gizmos tho. :bigok:
I'm on the stock radio still :(

So either a small single or some decent sized twins (2835R or higher)?

(sorry for pickin at your brain, I'll stop if ya don't want me to, hahaha)

EDIT: Stock block, heh, you know the 2JZ can take it...one of the guys on my site pulled 991 with a GT47 @ 33psi on his stock bottom end...he's back to running a T78 though, I believe. I won't say his name b/c he's usually pretty hush hush about his setups, but I'm sure you know him, or know of him.

Come to think of it, he SHOULD be at the Varsity meet next week, along with a decent number of the other people from my board.

Yeah, small single maybe SP5X or SP6X (I like what I hear about Sound Performance's setups) but for the big power I would probably go with a SP7X setup as I would be saving several $K over the HKS twin kits.

991whp on stock block is awesome! Is that the new record now? Is this Jeremy Blackwell by chance? I saw his dawg at the Varsity meet last month.

I don't know if you ever met Nathan Rodriguez aka WHT98TT on SF, he was stationed at Robins, but moved out to New Mexico, he had an SP67 on his 98 auto, 3800 stall converter, Titan Fuel, etc, and it was a VERY good setup, I think he netted a low 500 on pump gas.

No, current record for stock block is 1017, set by Tim something, it was done out at SP, I believe.

No, it wasn't Jeremy, I'll PM you the guy's name though.

Sweet Supra! :goodjob:

For the exhaust discoloring on the bumper, what about putting a nice polished aluminum surround? It will probably still get dirty, but it won't fuck up the paint or bumper and it would be WAY easier to polish an aluminum surround then the clay bar and polish/wax process on the paint. 5 min compared to an hour +. I think it would look good too.

Car is looking really good man!

I have issuses from my exhaust as well. I don't know why, but I think I might like the burnt bumper above the exhaust. Maybe it's because it's such a pain in the ass to clean! You're car is clean as fuck!! Do you still have the stock wheels? I'm looking for a set to beat on. Shoot me a PM if you do. I'm looking forward to seeing you at some of the meets! Take care bro! :)

how often do you clean and clay bar the bumper? i would try a protectant that doesn't use "wax" for it because products that use "wax" tend to break down in heat and wear away quickly. i think zaino doesn't use "wax" and uses some other type of chemical

Done it 2 or 3 times since I bought the car back in november. After I clay I've been using Meguires polish, then Meguiers gold class on top of that.
