I've been looking for a palm pilot and for a gps device when I came across this combo. I was wondering if anyone had this and could let me know if its any good or if I should just get a stand alone GPS receiver and forget about this combo.

imo i'd go with a standalone gps instead of that. Most palm pilots mixed with gps are a pain in the ass to use. At CC we had one and it got annoying when i was learning to use it. Also it doesn't seem like it has a whole lot of space. a stand alone will have a lot more features.

that pda is phenominal. I have one and i love it. coupled with GPS i think it sthe best pda.gps purcdhase out there. Unless you can afford hte lifedrive, if it has the gps combo, then id get that sheerly for hte memory space. Make sur eyou get an SD car for the MP3 player on ther

Your right about the stand alone gps having more featured than this combo but I'm wondering exactly how many features do I really need? All I really need out of the gps side of this combo is to tell me what road to go down and where to turn. All the other stuff may be fluff.
My main concern is the reception and response for the gps receiver. Is it slow? Bad reception? Anyway I think having the features of the palm pilot might out weigh my need for more gps features.
