LemonAJAX

it wont be suspended.. i got one for 30 over on barrett.. i still have mine.. well along with
1-30 hours of community service
2-defensive driving
3-300 dollar fine
4-and 3 points on my license..
i would recomend taking a defense driving course.. 6 hours of skull bashing.. but it'll reduce the points and prolly make the prosecutors more leniatn on you.. an it's only 3-points anyway.. after your 18 it takes a moving violation of 4+ points to have your license suspended.. so dude your good.. after you turn 18 you get like 9+ points..

i dont usually go down barrett just because i know that its hot, and i thought that anything over 24mph = 4points on your liscense??? idk, guess i gotta read up on the laws....

Dude, I dont know if it will work for you, but it did for me, three times. I m a dumbass for not learning the first time. Write a letter to the officer explaining why you were speeding, maybe the truth with a little gist on it, explain that your a college student who works to pay his tuition, etc, family problems etc, people depend on you, you respect the speed limit and was being careless etc, it worked for me in Dekalb county, Austell, and Douglasville. Show up to court and confront the officer about your letter, and hopefully he will just let you pay it and be on your way.

Dont know man, I just know it worked for me. If you are under a certain age you are required to make a court appearance, blah blah blah. In austell I just went and paid the ticket, no letter. Dont know how that one worked but it did, I didn't even have to make a court appearance. I just hope dude figures something out.

WRITE A GAY LETTER. I m sorry, kiss ass and suck it up. Write a letter to the officer. If you think about it, it can't hurt, maybe it'll show some maturity and regret and you will get sympathy, hopefully. Good Luck Man

Prove you're worth a damn, and they'll lower it to 23 over so you'll at least let you keep your license.
Trust me, the judicial system is only as intimidating as you let it be.
I would know.
It's all about money, and them intimidating you.
Don't please "Guilty". Court-appointed attourney could even take care of that. A court-appointed attourney is REAL attourney, they are just getting paid less for your case. Make a good impression, come off as a sharp-minded and responsible kid caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, and they'll make the effort to hook you up.
I know a lawyer, if you really want.

Correction. You just wasted your day/weekend/yr.
If yo're gonna just cry about it and try to get out of something you did, why do it in the first place? You can't tell me that you didn't realize you were going fast as hell through what sounds like a residenital/school area. Later, QD.

23 over under 21 "liscence suspension" unless the prosecutors/ solicitors work with you. i like wise was 29 over in cobb county and i have 24 hr community service 280 fine dd class, ive never had a ticket before this. if you try to fight it it will cost you more than a fine and dealing with it. lawyers aint worth a fuck in those type cases... my 2 cents.
edit: went to TRY AND TALK to a public defender...you have to fucking qualify first and if you do you wont find out till 2-3 weeks later.

Ok!
You are not a judge! So you dont know! It may be the same judge that you had. But you have to take into consideration, it also depends on the judges mood!
But I do agree the Defensive Driving course is only $75.00 go ahead and take it before your court date!and as for the points on your license, I read on the DMV website that if you get 15 points in a 24 monthe period your license will be suspended...But be warned that a JUDGE can suspend your license at will!
In the State of GA driving faster than 20 miles over is reckless driving. I am glad you didnt go to jail. But according to the DMV website for driving 26 over is 4 points!!!! But It could have changed.
I would invest in a Lawyer! GOod luck!

Dude, i'd pray and ask the judge to give you community time or something. All my boys got away with going 25 over. Lucky bastards. I had my license taken away for 1 and half. I had three tickets. but yea just tell him/her that you need you're license for watever reason and hope they go easy on you.

Get a lawyer, talk to the solicitor/court clerk ahead of time, etc. Work out a deal else your license will be gone for 6 months.

Because that would take two rare things known as "initiative" and "effort". It's a hell of a lot easier to guess at them and act all surprised when they're wrong. :lmfao:
