I need help on what to do. I recently got a ticket in duluth on a day that they had station at Pleasant Hill/S. or N. Berkley lake by the new Supercenter Walmart. The ticket was for driving on centerlane and that is going to cost me $210. The thing is that there was traffic and i'm almost at the light at Pleasant Hill, so I drove on the centerlane to get to the light where there isn't any cars there and traffic was back up almost at the end of Buford Highway.

Then the cop drove outta walmart and pull me over after he had alrdy done with someone else and the funny part is , I was right there alrdy pull over and someone else"Seen the police pulled me over" done the same thing and the police told him to park in back of me. Then when I got my ticket I drove to the light and thier was 2 other police pulling people over on the other side.

So I go to court a month after that and was deciding to go with the story : "The city could done things to resolve that issue so people couldn't do it because not many people knows and in other areas people have to do it to get to the left turning lane at the light because that centerlane turns into a Left turning lane at the light. When that lanes backs up on that centerlane and you wait to get until that centerlane turns into a left turning lane then you would need to bust a u turn because ain't no one is gonna let you over." But that day the dumbass court had 300+ people sign up on the same date"5/5 people I talk to got the same Ticket" at 9am and they got 200+ people standing in the cold then they moved us to the church with another judge and when I wait to get to the judge , she can't do nothing about it so I got an continuance instead.

Then in my head I was think'n what if i was wrong, so I drove back to see and they fuck'n fix it so no one could do it! So I went to court today and waited 2hrs and and the solicitor said he could lowered it to a non moving violation so I said no cause I'd still need to pay $210 so I waited for the judge and he said , "I am charge'n you for blah,Blah ,Blah...what the solicitor said." Then I said no, I"M not guilty. Then he say he can't do nothing about it that I have to goto a jury trail on another date. On this JURY trial thingy , If i'm guilty I could pay up to $1000 Fine and up to 12month in jail <--WTF for a centerlane violation that is not my fault!

So my question is what to do?
whats the amount of feet that u can drive on the centerlane to turn?
Should I just pay for the dam Ticket?

Thanx for reading..dam long story and i'm tired of it

Yeah, you made that decision to go into the center lane to get around the traffic, but it wasn't your fault and thus, you aren't guilty, right?

Yea i did.. but i never new they even had that law but i thought about it , in certain intersection that you would need to get on that center lane even tho it's like a 100 ft back't up .. so i'm wonder'n wat's the point of that law where u can go on it like in 50 ft or so..
