I have a 00 SI obd2 b20 with gsr head and aftermarket intake.L
Car ran perfect when i removed the b16 it was just tired.
all sensors are hooked up and working except for o2 sensors. (ckf sensor, knock, evap on fuel rail all working)L
used the snap on scan tool and tps sensor is adjusted correctly, map reads correct, no misfires)
this engine has 50 miles on it since i assembled it. timmlng is dead on. plugs and wires are new.L

problem: car doesnt idle on its on unless there is tension on the throttle cable. when driving, anything over quarter throttle and the car actually slows down. begins to hesitate, miss, pop, and backfire.L

help please!!!!

do you have a wideband? Could be a possible fuel injector issue

Injectors came out of previous running engine and were clean

yes it is still on the stock ecu due to obd requirements

Get with the program bro, stock 1.6 ecu is not gonna run a 2.0 correctly!!

It may not run it at the max power level but is should atleast idle and accelerate at low throttle. im not out flooring it.

when i had my old set up with the lsvtec. it'll stop wanting to pull after 4k rpm = wayy to lean. atleast get a base map chipped on. Only run about 75 bucks for base map chip

Tps checked good. o2 sensors are brand new and read right. fuel system is operating correctly

Car has since been tuned and still has the exact problem same
