I would leave that thing stock, looks cool as it sits. A nice drop and wheels would be the most I would do to a car like this

I have all kinds of pictures like that. That I took.
Seems the OP is kind of just trolling along. He's posted the exact same threads and picture on quite a few other forums without ever coming back to respond.

Coil overs aren't made for your car. BC Racing just now got some set up for mine. For now, though, I'm riding on heated and cut springs.

If you figure out the outside diameter of your springs you could probably grab a set from a place like pitstopusa.com, then get some short stroke shocks of some kind. Cutting or heating stock springs will most likely than not make your car ride and handle like dogshit. It might take some research and time but I'm sure you could piece together a decent setup with off the shelf parts for not too much money.

Not custom just for me. For the first gen Civic. I am on heated springs up front and cut out back.

i might just keep the stock rims tho i kinda like em! and change to round lights and get a chrome bumper
and if to repair my car cost too much i might aswell buy a swap?yay or nay?

If you have trim rings on the wheels, I'd definitely keep them on there. I'd paint the wheels gloss black and use the chrome rings. Also, I would NOT go with round lights or a chrome bumper on there. Would not suit the car at all. I would pretty much lower it and paint it. This car signifies the 1980s and I'd leave it that way. That's what I did with mine; lowered (slammed) and paint on a factory "refurbished" car.
Remember, though, this is your car so you ultimately do you.

The problem is if you fuck up your stock springs when trying to modifying them you are dead in the water until you find replacements. I mean, aftermarket springs are cheap, all things considered, and would be 100x better than stock anyway you look at it. And look at it this way, you'll at least need short stroke shocks on cut or heated springs, and with this car they are already blown by now anyway.
To the OP; don't bastardize this car with bullshit, do it right and keep it O.G. style. A nice drop, old skool wheels, paint and trim clean up would be all you need at first. Then do all your suspension bushings, steering rods and sway links. Then maybe consider an EFI engine swap. AC conversion would be nice too. This would make a really nice cruiser if you do it right.

As someone who has been doing this since you were 5 years old, I stand by my "if you know what you're doing" comment. I've been "bastardizing," as you call it, cars since the mid 80s with no ill results. I think my experience tells I know what I'm talking about.

I should have clarified a bit better in my statement of bastardizing. I wasn't so much refering to your spring heating/cutting methods as bastardizing this car. I should have maybe clarified and pointed to the round headlights and the red H badge and crap wheels or other janky things in general that would take away from the original equiptment of this car. This wasn't a personal attack on your chosen spring methods at all.

Ahhhhh, I gotcha. Clarification taken and understood, sir, lolol. And I completely agree with this as well.

Thirteen inch trim rings are not hard to find at all, dude. Mine were damn near impossible and have not seen a new set for sale in about 4 years (the last set I saw for sale I got). But mine were twelve inch rings. In my honest opinion, round lights on that car would really take away from the cars look. The second generation Accord was the only generation that had the quad square headlights and that generation only lasted three years. It's a great look for that car. Also, chrome bumpers don't suit the car either because there is normally no other chrome on the car. The first gen had chrome bumpers to go along with chrome side mirrors and chrome door/window edgings. In 1982, they switched to black side mirrors, side window moldings and the black bumpers. I just think that chrome bumpers would clash with the car.
If this were my car I would pretty much leave it stock, find some nice period correct wheels and drop the hell out of it. Maybe see if you can scare up some rare Japanese market parts (I did this for mine). But of course this is not my car and you should really do what you want to do. If you want round lights and chrome bumpers, go for it, you know.
Pro Import Services, Garage Zero and MiracleGlo are the folks that have put their hands on my car to get it where it is today.

once i buy a new DISTRIBUTOR ima be driving it....and yeah im not gonna find random round headlights that fit MY CAR
but yeah not trying to be an asshole but i obviously bought this car because i like the way it looks and i like the whole car in general!
keepin old school like i said im not rich and i work fast food its gonna stay oldschool for a long time
only thing i care about if it runs and it low and then paint plus the engine has 194,xxxx somthing miles
so if i drop a vtec please dont start busting my balls its not like ima put a spoiler ,bodykit, neon lights under it now that there is bastardizing and on lowering my car ...like i said i dont want to fuck shit up

Not sure what you're trying to say. I'm just letting you know that the Honda emblem from the factory for your car was not red. It was either all chrome or a chrome H with black background.
