My friend has a 2000 civic that likes to off randomly when driving. We changed the main relay and spark plugs but it still shuts off. When it does shut off, it usually turns on immediately but it can take a few mins at times. Could it be a dizzy problem?

Try a different MAP sensor.

Shuts off like Dash lights go off car quits running, or just motor dies but has all the lights on?

1. bad igniter, cyp sensor (Cylinder Position sensor) Swap the dizzy with a known good one..
2. Ignition switch going bad (like the key switch thing)!!

:thinking:No clue which to tell you, give more details

As in, lights work but the motor dies.

Ignition control module, coil, computer, electrical short, crank sensor, fuel pump shorting. All possiblities.
