i got a d16z6 i put in a 95 civic dx with a p28 ecu i am in need of a good base map the motor is bone stock

you sir, are running the correct ECU for that engine. Run your v-tec soleniod wires and your in business. No base map needed

Edit: Unless your just trying to get something else out of this engine or have a chipped p28 with no chip.

well it looks like i will be using a p06 the p28 i was getting fell through

adding vtec to a p06 will require modification to the hardware portion of the ECU, there are places that can do it. you'd probably be better off just to buy a p28.

this is true but if your handy with a soldering iron I'm sure there is a write up on how to Add it. you can get the parts from xenocron.com
But like he said, by the time you spend money on the p06 then the chip and v-tec add on hardware and pay someone to burn you a basemap you'll be better off just forking out for a p28.

i sold the civic allready and am getting my old 2g eclipse back but thanks anyway
