check oil level, vtec screen to see if its clogged if not than remember the car must have its temp sensor functioning at operating temps for oem ecu's,throttle pos sensor, speed sensor, good oil pressure to the vtec pressure switch ect.. for vtec to engage. also you can use a jumper wire from battery to vtec solenoid to her it click off and on. around 5000+ rpm is when vtec should start to take over or it will fall on its face so to speak.

When I bought my car I checked everything. They told me oil was changed a 115k miles. But the sticker on the window said it needed to be changed at 110k. So I thought they forgot to change the sticker. So i was gonna drive it to 120k. I checked everything bout two weeks ago and it was all good. So i mean yea I should've just changed it when i got it but It just one those stupid mistakes.

oil dosnt disappear unless its magical oil.
your burning oil. oil changed or not, it'll run low if it burns oil.

If it's burning/leaking that much oil in such a short amount of time you have a serious problem.

Have you checked the Vtec fluid ? If it's low, will cause the engine to burn oil.

Thats the problem. skunk2 springs make you burn oil.
you need to swap to skunk2 coil overs.

I would look into this also because the tech fluid can drain into the blinker fluid resivoir. Giving the illusion of low oil levels.

Nothing wrong with d-series engines, but yes you shouldnt make any assumptions on fluid levels especially with a high mileage car
