i have a walbro 255 on my ls/v with bolt-ons. i have a walbro pump because the car used to be turbo'd. i realize the pump is no longer a necessity which leads to my question

can a walbro 255 be tuned to operate at oem pressure?
will i need an adjustable fpr for oem pressure?

i was about to replace the pump and call it a day but a brand new pump is a little less than half the price of a full tune...

should i just get it tuned now or replace the pump first?

255 is fine with your setup.. adj regulator helps the tuner, but it can be tuned regardless..

Question you're asking is the 255 fine, so yes!! Get a regulator and adjust it to OEM setting... Then go get the car tuned!!

Edit:

If your lost then ask for the tuner's advice..

i dont know why you are trying to get rid of the fuel pump. Keep it, its NOT overkill. YOu can tune with it fine.

i would NOT tune it then replace it as it needs to be retuned "checked" again
