That one had a vortech supercharger, a buddy of mine used to own that car. It was nice. I had to drive 487 miles each way for this one. Basic rundown:

1993 LX Coupe. 102K miles. Original silver and black interior car that has been repainted BMW Silver and done the right way. All the glass and body parts were taken off, it was resprayed then put back together. Interior has also been redone. BBK intake, BBK Throttlebody, small cam(specs unknown), BBK Shorty Headers, Flowmaster Exhaust.

My pictures honestly do it no justice. It is waaaay cleaner than what it looks like here.

Me and my boss, who I got it from made a deal where he is keeping it. He would rather have it then me to sell it to someone else once the tuning got done. I decided I wanted a V8 and was going to buy a terminator but I found this car. Now I have no car payment and cheap insurance so this car will get a full build done.

I know! I found a Oxford White 04 with pulley/long tubes/ect...that made 502whp/515wtq and was approved for my credit union but the more I thought about it I want to buy a house in the next couple years. Having no payment will help...and I will still have a 400+ whp car in the garage ;)

All black interior is a lot harder to find than I thought, much less one in this condition. The 15 hour round drip drive sucked but it was worth it.

I really am loving it lol drove it back from Jacksonville NC, 80 mph, one hand on the steering wheel, gangster leaning, AC on blast with classic rock on blast. I felt so fuckin cool LOLOL

I thought that was the same car I saw there. I rode my bike up, but will have the Mustang out soon. It has had a little work done to it lately - 5 lug conversion, 18's, front brakes, new transmission, etc.
Had to remove the Cervini front end and go back to the stock front end though. Car was running too warm with so many coolers up front.

My advise to you - win the lottery. These cars are money-pits.

Man, you are crazy, parts for these cars are dirt cheap! I drove mine over 500 miles this weekend and so far it runs great.

You'll see what I mean. Whne you start changing transmissions, adding superchargers, converting 5 lug, etc. it will add up quickly, and every change you do will drive you to do 2 more. Parts seem cheap, until you have rebuilt the whole car. It's so easy to just keep ordering more and more parts.

Oh yeah, go ahead and join up on Corral, and let me know if you want me to point you to anything in particular.

Bwahha! Yeah I can see that. Parts are so cheap it makes it easy to buy buy buy and buy.

The one I posted has FR500 Reps, that car most likely had BBS RK's which are no longer in production for Mustangs so they are pretty rare....and expensive.

Ah, totally missed that. Most of the Mustangs around here running FRs have a gunmetal/black center. But yea, the one in town is for sure on BBS.

They are a very popular wheel on Fox's. I'm gonna rock them till next summer/I get boost and then save for a set of HRE's lol

David88vert
09-06-2011, 07:19 AM
I wanted the BBS RKs, and didn't mind spending the money, but in the end, I wound up lucking up on a set of brand new set of staggered 18" ADR's with brand new Nitto NT05s in back, and Pirellis up front. Keep an eye open on the classifieds, and sometimes you will find good deals. I haven't seen anyone with my wheels, and I have another set of Weld ProStars with slicks for the track. Most of the other foxbodys are on Weld Draglights at the track, so even then I have something a little different than over other foxbody at the track.
Get the HREs, everyone else has CCWs - and I mean everyone.

CHADbee
09-06-2011, 08:26 AM
That's the plan, classics are an all time favorite wheel of mine but Fuuuck they are everywhere in the mustang community! Since I get a hook up, er two hook ups with HRE now that seams like my best bet.

To be honest I don't know but from what others have told me and what I have seen with similar cars it should make around 200-ish WHP and 230-ish WTQ

These cars aren't fast by any means but have a ton of potential to make power really easy.

With a gear and drag radials, it'll still run a decent number. Obviously no roll racing, but work with what you got!
