Need help with horn/aftermarket steering wheel

Ok so I got a aftermarket steering wheel I understand the concept that one wire is hot one is ground what i cant figure out is how do you hook it up to work without having a bunch of wire twisting around the steering wheel getting knotted up and shorted out behind the wheel I've looked online but still have not figured it out

Can't you pop out the center cap of the wheel? There should be wires located inside that cap. Every one I had was like that

This one has a wire running to a metal ring of course the ring doesn't reach far enough to act as a ground as it should. The should include some kind of ribbon setup similar to te ars cable for the horn but no that would make too much sense lol
