yeah go look up the IPS cam test chunky and i did before you even thought about doing a Turbo D.

My all motor CRX lasted 9 months and two chassis and prob 50 street races, and ran the day i took it apart and sold it to build my 2JZ S13 (which actually did blow up after making 705). My CRX before that ran for 3 years (1.5 years after i sold it) revving to 9900 RPMs.

I don't know about other races, but the one with 1civic and 05dc5s, 50mph was 1civic's choice. I even asked him, hey why not a 40 roll? He said there was no way he'd hook on the tires he rolled out on. The RSX was ready to go from 20, 30, 40, 50, whatever.

I've learned a lot of lessons over the years though my various builds and I'm always willing to share that knowledge. However, if one of my friends is building something he wants to keep secret, I don't run around telling everyone about it. On Saturday night, someone asked me something about the RSX. I just politely referred him to 05dc5s b/c it's not my car. Nothing personal. If someone says he wants to keep his setup secret, I respect that. Like when I ran Green Goblin in my ep3 on the last built motor. He got me by a car+, so I wanted to know what he had. He didn't want to tell me, and that was fine. I didn't get all mad that he wanted to keep secrets. Was I really curious? Hell yeah I wanted to know what he had. However, I didn't run around crying because he didn't want to talk about his setup. I just told him he had a fast car and that I would be up for a rematch sometime b/c those were some good runs.

Actually, you've always been very cool in person, but you can't take any sort of criticism on a public forum. The night we met up for you to do your run with Moseley, everything was all cool. Until you got home and got the idea that the hatch was on spray or has a fully built motor, or that you were somehow tricked into starting out of your powerband. Then you made an issue out of other people keeping secrets about their builds while you yourself are now trying to tweak your setup on the low.

The red hatch has sat for over a year, and for the past 2-3yrs I had no time for that car, yes i have to be an adult.. Would you like my life story?

If scottie was to tune my car then all of atlanta would know, he hasn't touched this car since the motor was in my EF, since then it has seen 4-5 sets of cams, 3-4 headers, etc.. Well when you're the first person in the country to get them you tend to figure out what works and what doesn't. David hsu sent tbone and donf the first and ONLY 2 sets of production pro3 cams in existence. Tbone got one set and me the other. Pro 3 didn't hit the market till about 6 months after I dynoed them.

No one knew the cams weren't compatible with rocket gen 1 springs, as it turned out many cams werent ask Johnzm and black r. We all were guiniea pigs and learned by trial and tribulation.

So you get the benefit of learning from pioneers like us. So now you can be just like everyone else just remember who was first.

Until you got home and got the idea that the hatch was on spray or has a fully built motor, or that you were somehow tricked into starting out of your powerband. Check rotation? Are you making terms up again. You mean checking valve clearances, coil bind etc? Yeah we did all that. Who knew the ferrea valve stem seals being slightly taller would cause a problem. But I figured it out again you're welcome. You benefit from my hard work.

If you don't have the money to put into the car, why would it be sitting at a shop not getting worked on? Shops charge storage fees on cars that aren't picked up after so many days etc. Anyhow, that's your business. If you want to keep it quiet, that's you. As for my cams. . . why would I clay the motor with cams I'm not going to use? LMAO. I clayed the motor with IPS k2 mark III cams as shown in the pictures. I honestly don't have the spare time to clay a motor with the wrong cams just to trick people. I work on my motor in the spare time, which I don't have much of lately between work, gym, and various other commitments I have. Right now I'm waiting for some work to be done on some of the parts. Once I get those back, you'll see an update in my thread as well as pictures of the final assembly.

If you don't have the money to put into the car, why would it be sitting at a shop not getting worked on? Shops charge storage fees on cars that aren't picked up after so many days etc. Anyhow, that's your business. If you want to keep it quiet, that's you. I'm just saying that you can't call out other people for being quiet about their setups when you don't like to let on everything that's happening with your build either.

As for my cams. . . why would I clay the motor with cams I'm not going to use? LMAO. I clayed the motor with IPS k2 mark III cams as shown in the pictures. I honestly don't have the spare time to clay a motor with the wrong cams just to trick people. I work on my motor in the spare time, which I don't have much of lately between work, gym, and various other commitments I have. Right now I'm waiting for some work to be done on some of the parts. Once I get those back, you'll see an update in my thread as well as pictures of the final assembly.

Oh snap, did my record just stand up and speak for itself? Did I really do a freeway roll race followed by a 1st gear roll race on 195 tires against a stripped hatch with unknown mods/motor and 205 tires??? LOL. That was a fun night. There will be more of that come this summer when the epTHRILLA is back at full strength.

I've been working on my own shit rather than talking a bunch of shit online while others work on my car. when you call up a shop and say "install these hubs and axles", you don't have any clue what it takes to do that. I have to get a ball joint separator, take apart the front end, order hubs, get some wheel bearings, press the old shit out, put the new shit in, take apart broken axles, get greasy as hell putting together new ones, and put that shit all back together. then go get it aligned, etc.

After it is running I'm going to go drive around and experiment with K pro nitrous windows and output switches to see if I can adjust fuel & timing individually per gear.

Meanwhile you'll be sitting there asking mainstream to put your shit together, and scotty to tune your nitrous. I can't wait until you get that done, because I will trash you on any "bought" nitrous tune that you have. That shit is not plug and play. dry kits are not childs play. if you can't control yourself enough to keep a boosted D series together, you'll blow up that K in no time. my advice, go get a wet kit unless you can tune it yourself and understand all the factors involved when spraying dry. Oh but wait, you don't take other's advice. I'm talking to a wall. later.
