B18C bogging when VTEC engages

Just did a swap. I took my sweet ass time, wired everything, conversion, everything is good. No CELS. I hit vtec 4500-5500 rpm and it starts to bog. The car itself sat for almost 2 years. I pumped good gas. I think it might be fuel filter but not sure.

did you check to see if there are any code or are you just going by there is no light on?

Also make sure dizzy coil is good,sometimes when they are about to go out they start doing that.If spark from cap is orange might have to change it.

his last hatch he tryed everything to get it to pop vtec so at the end of it he put vtec on a button....lol

his ecu, faulty injectors,maybe the intake is creating a weird wave stream between those RPM's causing a abnormality. maybe he just has bad luck? if i didnt have class today id come by and look at it.

open it up, and remove jumper J1. drive it for a quick sprint and see what it does, it will run alot leaner but nowhere near dangerous.. unless its a turbocharged monstur. eh?

My last hatch had a major wiring issue. I took the swap out n put it in the integra, wired vtec and it worked. Plus I had a busy job at the time.

timing is good, no need for tuning. Compression test was 230-245 all across. I think its a fuel issue.
