Well, Sunday night i was too lazy to drain the water and pour antifreeze. I wake up Monday afternoon and first thing i do is to check if the coolant (water) froze before i even cranks it. I open the radiator cap and its completely frozen. All coolant hose there is to the engine are rock hard. I managed to melt the radiator, but the block if didn't want to mess with because i don't want to risk damaging the water pump, or worse, cranking the block.

Thing has never happened to me, but those are the consequences for me being lazy.

Since I don't have a garage, what are some methods that could possibly help without causing any damage? Should I wait until the water melts? Thanks in advance

Ive been told that if you fill it with coolant as much as you can and let it sit fir a while that coolant will melt the ice.

I was told the same, but the coolant would only get as far as the radiator top and lower hoses end. They are frozen entirely till both water the block and head water necks.

DO NOT TRY TO START IT! If you have a small space heater or a very hot shop light put that under the front of the engine give it some time to warm up then drain the water out and fill with coolant. make sure you get the block good and warm before you try to start it

Damn bro is your car still at bobs... Has it been frozen for two days now?

Take the hoses off if need be, let them "thaw". put them back on, fill the Rad with Antifreese..Some how heat the block too. You should be good dogg..

I had this happen once for the same reason (lazy, to cold) and I learned my lesson.

I did the same thing too my car. Only thing it did was over heat when i tried too drive it.Im hoping i didnt pop the headgasket. I know the water pump is fine. I think the heater core just stayed frozen everything else is thawed out...I HOPE!!! Or maybe my theromstat is stuck closed
