I just put a H22 in my wifes accord and it keeps blowing head gaskets. Any ideas why? I bought brand new ARP head bolts. Torque spec is 80fp and I torqued it down to 100fp this last time. I hasnt overheated either...

^^ If your doing everything correct..

ALWAYS get the heads checked out before putting back on.

How do you know it keeps blowing the head gasket? You can stretch ARP bolts by over torquing them, and if it hasn't overheated what makes you think its a headgasket? I would pressure test the system, and make sure fans, and radiator cap, temp sensor are all in working order.

And as stated prior, the head or block can be warped, or have hairline crack somewhere.

Yes, i got the head milled, and the block decked. it is all good. I know it is blowing headgaskets because it sounds like a wrx, and lost some compression in cylinders 3 and 4. It is an oem gasket, the radiator hoses are in the correct places. and all coolant sensors/system is working properly. After i let it sit for about a day and cranked it, it was blowing white smoke. bad. Can a machine shop check to see if the head is cracked?

they do a vacuum test to see if it cracked.
