I did a b16 swap in my da in march and since then it has had three different alternators in it. i just put a reman in it about a month ago and it is slowly killing that one. i have gone through and checked all my grounds and made sure they are grounded properly. i am starting to get really frustrated with it. any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

thanks everyone

check ur alr relay it could be sending more or less voltage than it needs, or a short somewhere, electrical problems are a pain in the butt for ppl that are not mechanics, like me, lol...
but this happen to me and thats what my mechanic said it was wrong, so, i hope it helps

i would replace the wires and check for excessive resistance on the wire and do some voltage drop test on the alternator control circuit.

Don’t know if this would cause it but check how tight the belt is. I would think that if it has too much tension it could put excess stress on the alternator.

check your battery voltage because if it's low but enough to start, it'll make the alternator work to hard and wear out fast. If you have a load tester you can use that to check your alternator if the amps is working properly and if the amps output turns out to high that when you will know your alternator is working to hard.
