I bought a b18b the other day. So today I did a compression test and I got these readings.
I had to do the test with the engine cold so I know that can effect the readings.
1-95
2-155
3-155
4-90
Just need some ideas of what this could mean

I don't know if it smokes because its not in my car. I did the test with the engine out of the car.

put some oil in the cylinders before you do it again, and if the numbers go up, then its bad rings

And what if the numbers stay the same what could that mean.

just my e cents on a whime, since its 1-4 at some point the pistons have kissed the valves? Maybe if u do a CLT u will get a more definite answer.
with those numbers the engine will definitely run, if it runs good or not is a gamble. ive done compression tests where one minute its low and the next is high

Ok thanks for all the replays here in the next few days I going to take apart the engine and look everything over. If I find anything ill post it up.

Seems low in all the cylinders. My LS (B18B1) is around 180ish on all 4. I would check timing first to see if the Belt has slipped a tooth or two.
