What in the world makes them worth that kind of money? When I bought brand new Volk TE37's for the S2k they were only 2 grand.... I can't see what would make these wheels costs triple that. i assume they are forged, lightweight, stylish and all that, but it just seems insane to pay that kind of money for a expendable item like wheels. If it were an expensive car I guess I could get it a little better. On a base model vette that is dressed to look the part of a Z06 it seems like an odd choice. Either way its not MY choice odd or not, but it just seems that for that much you could still get some very nice wheels, tires, and have enough to get even more functional items for the car.

Yea, during the meets, The V gets dirty as hell, cups and shit everywhere. Not much you can do about it, except not bring your car there. And if the rims cost that much leave them at home, and throw on some stockers. Dowtown is full of potholes anyway, why risk damaging them by driving them to the V if THAT worried about them. my idea with the oreos was to just pass them out and eat them as a joke at the meet, but it took other plans from the others that took the cookies. the plan then turned to put oeros around his car but we made sure that we didnt want to touch it. yah a package was placed on top of the tire because that other person didnt understand the concept that we didnt want to touch his car so it was promptly removed.
