i don't know much more than that but between the states, the governors, and people opposing the bill i have a feeling this is gonna tie it up for awhile, maybe we will see obama cry and beg while traveling the country on selling this piece of crap!!!

ok update on this the GA attorney general tried to shut this down but the GOV found lawyers who are willing to do this for free since the GA ATTY GEN said it will cost georgians alot of money, here comes the movement i've been preparing for, buy ammo and don'y use it unless you have to.

The only leg they have to stand on is making people buy insurance or face a penalty fee. Now the govt just has to say it's a TAX and they will prob get away with it since the constitution gives congress broad taxation powers.

here is a popular quote "no taxation wthout representation" i think that is what we told the british, now it's time to tell that to obama.

Are you assholes really so naieve as to believe that a lawyer is gonna work for FREE? These people are jockeying for political patronage, pure and simple. They are either looking for appointed office positions or funding/connections to run for elected office.

Take your guns and ammo and stick them up your ass. Then dump a few mags. :goodjob:

Waste of taxpayer dollars when we're billions in the red. Georgia one of the few states that wont sell alcohol on sunday and make frivolous lawsuits yet wants to figure out how to eliminate hundreds of millions from the budget.

Even though I agree with you, I also disagree. If you only look at it for 1 year, it will probably cost money, but if by some miracle it actually sends the bill back to congress, it could save the state many times what it actually costs.

that is the catch to all this the goergia surgeon general says it will cost too much(democrat i guess) and the GOV is finding ways for it not to cost the taxpayers in the state any money.

and BLENDER, if an atty agrees with the GOV and truely cares about the country he will do it for free. GO put on your red city year jacket and come around running your mouth and i'm sure someone in this state will dump a MAG UP YOUR ASS. and i have plenty of ammo for just my handgun too. let me post you some video links of the city year, i'm sure you will run and join it too.

It seems to me that City Year does the same stuff as Americorps or Habitat for Humanity. Maybe you and your militia buddies are intimidated by them because they also seem to have a "military" sort of discipline and attitude in the way they represent themselves, but if you've ever seen a step team its probably similar to that.

Back on topic, I think you mean the GA Attorney General (Thurbert Baker) as GA does not have a Surgeon General. But yeah, Baker refuses to go along with Scummy Sonny in his latest cock-a-mamey scheme. Even if these lawyers did work for free, there would still be court costs, travel costs, the costs of documents and supplies, as well as time wasted that could be spent coming up with a solution to the States revenue crisis.

If we legalized Sunday sales, MMJ, and gay marriage, we could pretty much steal revenue from other states, lol. I know a whole lot of gays went to MA and the other states to get married when it was legal there, and spent a shitload of $$ doing so. And I know a lot of people would cross state lines to buy beer on Sunday, so theres that as well. Think of all the revenue that goes out of this state from people buying fireworks in TN and AL... we could get that back exponentially.

I think it's good in principle to keep the issue up at the forefront, but the lawsuit will cost the state millions no matter how they spin it.

It's agregious to say healthcare will save us money , it's just as bad to claim this won't cost anyone any money.

I can't believe we don't sell alcohol on Sundays so retarded

i have wondered that for years, btw i don't have any militia friend sorry, i will protect myself and my family if i have to. florida has always done sunday sales and fireworks people do drive all over for them. MMJ i would say would be a good thing, or decriminalize it and tax it for revenue. i guess we will see where this goes.
