I am sitting pretty low on coilovers and with my 245/40r18 tires I am scrubbing like a bitch!!!! The smallest bump make me scrub, especially in the rear cuz the outside edge of the tires is hitting inside the wheel well....is I had some 225/35r18's i would prob be fine!!!

So basically if you want to sit low and eliminate wheel gap you almos have a little bit of stretch so you don't rub the fender or wheel well...

already replaced the drivers side...still has this subtle clunking/crunching feeling/noise so im gonna install the new pass side axle tomorrow. I was hoping the drivers side would fix it 100% but nope...oh well

where can I get some 225/35/r18 for the low low!!!!

B. Fender flares. REAL ones not those stupid bolt over the stock one shit.

Eh there really isn't anything wrong with a little stretch. Some people just take it way too far.

but i dont think you need to put a stretch tire on ur rims, you may just invest in some eccentric bolts, and add some camber. Or try lowering it some more, and see if you get some more camber out of the rear.

i think the g35 wheels are what 8" wide? dont think that will really do much with a 225..

I'm not going to stretch my tires, but I am going to get some new wheels, 19x8.5 with prob a little stretch such as 235/35 or something..and no neg camber for me

that 235 on that 8.5 equals 0 stretch.. if you want to stretch on that 8.5 your gonna have to go down to a 205-215 atleast.... But its not neccesary. I gurantee if you lower the car some more when your fixing the axle. Physics will kick in , and you will get a bit more camber out the rear.

And for the front i will advise just a few degrees of camber, to fix it. Because that tire size you are talking isnt gonna do anything.

Nail your offsets, roll fenders, and dial in some camber and you don't need much stretch.

it depends on the tire, but a 235 on a 8.5 isnt gonna fix what you want. There is another half inch that you dont see on regular properly fitted tires. and it doesnt begin to truly stretch until you get down to a certain width.. and with the 8.5 its the 215-205..

here is a pic of a 225 on a 8.5 with a falken tire, and they are known to stretch good. What you need is some camber to fix this problem.. with the stretch your still gonna scrub. drop the car more.. and you will see
