Appraisal comments:
"Adrienne is very customer service orienated and has recieves great feedback from most of her customer experiences."

Key Strengths:
"Adrienne works well with her customers and has a very pleasant attitude when doing so."

Areas for Development:
"Adrienne has the skill set to perform her job responsiblites but spends to much time being unproductive. I would like to see her more motivated and driven to hit her goals. This is key for hitting the 2010 goals .When management is providing feedback Adrienne should remain less combative and seek out feedback as a for her imporovement." :screwy:


I hit goals (in some instances I was 120%+ of my goals) and I give great customer service, also I have a higher Customer Feedback Score than the store does, but I'm unproductive? :thinking:

lol...you should try the management side....my job depends on what 9 technicians feel like doing everyday...try finding ways to motivate 9 people who are completely different while having an hr rep on your ass 24/7 trying their damndest to create drama of some kind and a gm who wants results regardless if the equipment fails, if the techs suck at life, etc and a job where you have to be written up for the same thing 4 times in a 90 day span before being terminated....which makes disciplinary actions completely useless


but the time off is great, lol, i work 3 days one work and 4 the next...i took 2 pdo's and one comp day next week and i'm off 10 days straight

Well where I work, a monkey could run this store better than the current managment does. I understand they're here to help (atleast they think they're helping), but sending out blast emails about how bad of an employee you are, and including FALSE information about you in that email isn't proper managment behavior. It also is not helpful or condusive to making that employee want to work harder.

Not hard to get good recommendations when you're naked on someones lap providing tricks for $1.

When you walk around with that dull look on your face and just kind of "shake your ass" for someone, without any flare or intensity, that's the same as being unproductive. Or when gk comes in and you sit on his lap for 2 hours.. that's unproductive. You should be out swindling people for money with your 12 yr old boy looking body.

I am not stupid, I have thought about that, but she's on vacation until Saturday, don't worry I'm not approving it and/or signing it until her and I talk. But if I confront her I may just be being "combative"...

lol funny thing is when they have our weekly improvement things, I do. I act interested and ask good questions and say thanks a lot for the great info, or anything along those lines. I guess like what was said earlier, they'll always look for things to complain about. They would much rather you hit 200% of your goals and less emphasis on customer service... reason why AT&T is last place in customer service right now...

He's kinda lacking in the texting me back thing about it this morning, therefore I went to IA... probably not the best choice, but it got the job done.

to be perfectly honest, management at places like this have to make up random shenanigans to make themselves look better. if they're not nit picking the slightest possible thing out of every employee and putting it down on reviews then their managers think they're not paying attention as much as they should. when you go up to them and confront them, they will always have a bogus excuse for why they put what they did. It's really just not worth the time, to worry about it, or confront them about it. Unless of course you intend to make a career out of it, and then you need to discuss it with your manager, so if the day comes you ask for a raise he/she doesn't say "well your performance reviews said this and this, and that stays consistent, so that's a big negative."

Reason why I'm not signing the evaluation until I talk to her, everyone was/is sharing their reviews and everyone else's needs for improvement is like "needs to share their best practices with fellow peers" or "needs to discuss with peers on how to help them acheive their goals..." or something a long those lines.

That's not a bad thing to say. I dont see why she is complaining, what that basically means is when management is trying to tell her something or explain to her about work, that she doesnt have to be so combative and listen to what they say w/ out going but ... this and... oh I know how to ... oh but... sort of stuff. Management likes an employee to hear what they have to say and try to improve on it. It's not saying she's doing anything wrong, alot of people do that to their management though, me including lol.

Dang I thought it was just a coincidence that you got F'd on your evaluation.. but I just got mine from AT&T. I got a Satisfactory rating, but had I not been on 8 months military leave I would have been above satisfactory. The company (at least the part I am at) is a sinking ship.

You are completely right. I've been there 3 years and my yearly reviews ALWAYS say the exact same thing as yours, Adrienne. I don't believe you will ever find a retail manager who will say you're the greatest thing ever. There's always something to improve on in their eyes.

You figure these store managers are under huge amounts of pressure of losing their jobs for ANY reason so they say whatever it is they gotta say to cover their own ass. We're not gonna get fired for a semi-good review so don't even worry about it :goodjob:

I really don't care to be honest, but I'm not going to acknowledge anything that I don't understand/find to be correct, plus I'm trying to get transferred out of this store, and another managers can see our reviews, and they wouldn't want me at their store if they thought I was truly unproductive and combative... She could use different wordage, basically when I see those words I think 1) Lazy, 2) Argumentative...

Oh no bueno... but I'm glad all the other AT&T employees are in the same boat... looks to me as if its a company wide problem... glad I'm getting my degree in Biology.... I won't have to deal with AT&T much longer!

That's what big companies want anyways. Why would they rather have us around when they can hire someone new who thinks the commission structure is awesome? Keeps new employees coming in and reduces the bitching from the folks with tenure.

Yep my manager once, IN front of the older folks (myself included), told a new hire that "The employees that were here before Veeral and myself took over this store, have bad attitudes, they always complain and just don't get or like our managment style." I was like :eek::eek::eek: did she just seriously say that?! And they expect us to be jolly happy lol...
